Week 49 in my Hobonichi Weeks. Makin’ my way downtown. Walking fast. Holding a baguette. And I’m homebound. Ddudududududu.
I also fell in love with these Christmas cookies 🤭
Week 48 in my Hobonichi Weeks. My new journal finally arrived after being stuck in customs for 25 days, and I was very excited to finally have it so of course I wrote about it. Gotta practice my cursive more often…
Week 47 in my Hobonichi Weeks. It was one of those weeks where many small things bothered me, so I just had to vent lol. It’s a pretty boring spread, so there’s a surprise Cherry at the end to make up for it🤭
Week 46 in my Hobonichi Weeks. Hair in a bun & tons of mascara. That was my look for this week lol.

Week 45 in my Hobonichi Weeks. Got some good grades, finished Dracula through Dracula Daily, started watching The Handmaid’s Tale, and ate a whole pomegranate.
The past few weeks I was quite busy with university assignments and readings, so I have to catch up on a lot of journaling (9 spreads to be exact omg). Here’s some of the stuff I made and cut out two days ago. I won’t be able to finish all the spreads before the end of the year🥲 I like everything to be in chronological order, so I will continue to post 2024 journal spreads for a while. I hope to get through everything asap. In the meantime, I can also finally start my new journal!! I have some nice ideas brewing in my head, so I can’t wait to see how the book will become my companion in 2025.
Week 44 in my Hobonichi Weeks. I tried new recipes (not very successfully), went to the dentist, and drew jack-o-lantern faces on mandarins.
❝The story had held us, round the fire, sufficiently breathless, but except the obvious remark that it was gruesome, as, on Christmas Eve in an old house, a strange tale should essentially be,❞
Reading The Turn of the Screw today because it begins on Christmas Eve👻 Did not realize until I started this book that it takes place at Bly Manor, which means that the last two book I will finish this year, this one and The Haunting of Hill House, are books that were adapted into tv shows. I guess I should watch The Haunting of Hill House & The Haunting of Bly Manor next. (Has anyone seen it? Is it good?)
I hope everyone has a relaxing and joyful break❤️ Happy holidays!
More Dracula quotes. It’s safe to say that Dracula has become one of my favorite books.
My favorite autumn outfits from 2024.
Week 43 in my Hobonichi Weeks. Exam week = songs stuck in my head
🎶Feel free to share any of the ear worms you had this year.
❝I will bite my thumb at them❞
The comedic timing of this cat😹👌
Week 42 in my Hobonichi Weeks. I started watching Gilmore Girls, started crocheting a star, got 5 new secondhand books, and went to a museum and the ballet.
Went to the ballet once and became obsessed.
The ballet performance of Don Quixote I went to was so magical, I had to create something inspired by it. I got the idea to make to make a pop-up jewelry/music box and it wouldn’t leave my mind until I made it happen.
🩰
(This idea actually came before the pop-up coffee cup I posted earlier. I came across that while trying to find the best technique to make this one work.) Unfortunately I made the inside of the box a bit too dark, so it lost some of its depth. Oh well…
My ratings and some of the quotes I collected from Happy Place, The Pumpkin Spice Café & The September House. Looking back, I would up the rating for Happy Place to 3,5 and lower The Pumpkin Spice Café to 2. Have you read any hyped books that disappointed you lately? I really wanted to like tPSC and the cover looked so nice, but I found it to be childish and a bit superficial…
