For Day 4 of Codyweek, I made a couple more wallpaper images:
Not a whole lotta time today so here we go! @commandercodyweek
The first rule is you do not talk about it. The second rule is you do not talk about it. Rule number three, you stop before things get out of hand. Fourth rule; only two brothers to a fight. Fifth rule, one fight at a time. Sixth rule: robes and body gloves required. Seventh rule: fights will go on as long as they have to. The eighth and final rule:
The generals never find out.
CC-2224—no, his name is Cody and given the opportunity he’d love to be asked if he signed up for this. That answer’s a firm no, actually. A series of issues Cody has to work through and some he doesn’t want to. But that’s the life of a clone. Right?
( Day 2-Origins: How Cody got his scar; Why Cody doesn’t have a kama; why Cody has a jetpack @commandercodyweek
I have nothing to offer in the week of Marshal Commander Cody except my firm belief that Cody met Rex when he kidnapped the blonde baby from the nursery where the Kaminoans were deciding whether to terminate him or not🤧
Commander Cody Week - Day One: Bonds
My contribution for today’s prompt is more of a based on version as inspiration came from the novel Boba Fett: The Fight To Survive. In it, Boba wonders at having a mother. It made me wonder how the clones felt watching the bond between Jango and Boba and not having one with either. Thus this was born... hopefully, people enjoy!
CC-2224 watched as the man who served as his genetic template sparred with Boba.
There was something... different.
He just could not explain what.
The moves were the same ones he learned when he was Boba’s size.
There was a gleam in Jango’s eyes that was absent when he trained them.
Pride, CC-2224 realized as Boba rolled to one side. It was pride Jango felt.
The kind a father felt for his son.
Not that CC-2224 knew about a father’s pride or the bond a father and son shared.
He was a clone.
Trainable, dependable, expendable, and above all, replaceable.
I haven’t really written or posted (or put out any sketches) for like two years?? EEEK! (Thanks college!!!) @commandercodyweek seems like a great place to get back in the habit. Thanks @jate-kara for putting this on!!!!!
Today’s prompt: Bonds-Brothers
The cruiser back to Coruscant is ghostly.
While missions are always difficult, this one in particular has been exceedingly brutal. It’s not uncommon to witness death. After all, they were created for such a task. However, the explosion that claimed the ARC Trooper’s life has definitely left more than physical debris scattered in its wake.
Which is why Cody is determined to find Rex. There are a few places the captain likes to retreat to that consist of light foot traffic—or in other words, places he can hide.
