hhhghnmgh Sora’s gonna learn actual spinjitsu faster than Arin won’t she. She’s gonna learn it faster and ways to do it better and without Ras teachings. The next time she meets Arin she’s gonna know the thing he’s been trying to do since he was literally a younger child.

And he’s going to try so hard not to be angry, because he doesn’t want to hate Sora, but it’s so hard when she gets everything he’s wanted.

Wolfcat is sooooo funky to me esp now that it’s confirmed that Sora and Jordana were in school together and drifted apart. I don’t really see them as toxic yuri anymore and more as Jordana somewhat-joining the ninja and they are both confused as fuck about one another. Just exhausted from life and scared of AND for the other person. They have so many issues to fix between each other and themselves, and if it takes them like 10 years to actually get together then I am completely okay with that. No more toxic yuri only weary yuri now.

Sora but she’s Czechoslovakian and hungry for Kapusnica and Gulaš every single day (aka me)

+ Some Swiss Landchinder Arin and Sora (because of my Swiss Arin hc) but they’re fully decked out in stereotypes, with the only accurate thing being the spiderman backpack. They’re headed to the Reuss to jump in and get to school (/s, however it’s one of my fave myths that I once saw somewhere)

I don’t really have any sophisticated art to offer today but what I CAN give y’all is my very first sketches of the new gen kids/ just me watching DR for the first time

Arin Sora and Wyld did not really change much except that I think I changed their face shapes a lot— especially Arin. Also confusion over Lobbo (which still holds up, as far as I’m aware)

Lloyd being, well, Lloyd, and forced to be an adult (I somehow forgot his horns in that first one?)

Somehow, I did not care to draw Euphrasia until 4 months after watching DR for the first time, and only then did her angst potential actually actually hit me (and i bothered to remember her name)

I had given her mildly curly hair already, but then I kept seeing other fanart with her with straight hair and kinda adapted to that (anyone else remember that Euphie phase? Yeah.)

For this last one: I was watching ep 4 (FOR THE FIRST TIME, MIND YOU), and when they think Kai is dead but he starts screaming quite audibly in the background, I paused and drew this. After I finished, I continued, and then that bit IMMEDIATELY happened (just with Lloyd instead of Nya but shhh)

Uh yeah that’s all. I might find more first drawings because looking through my art folder (this one’s from 2023 obviously) is always fun

I like how so far in DR part of the major plot of a season has always been kicked off by the fact that Sora, Arin and Riyu like sneaking out of the Monastery without informing anyone

I’m just gonna start posting batches of my favorite tiny expressions that I’ve drawn because like… look at them.

When I say I want Lloyd to be a parent I mean that in the same sense that he never had a very stable parental figure— Everyone kept leaving and leaving Lloyd to figure stuff out on his own, the closest he’s had to a good parent may honestly have been Kai in s5, and even then they were separated for long periods of time. Every adult around Lloyd always had their own issues and realistically could never help with his.

Once I said as a joke that Lloyd was raised by only siblings and how that would impact his own ability to parent but I also meant that for real. Even if the oldest sibling is in charge that still doesn’t substitute for a parent, the relationship will always be different.

And Lloyd having no proper parental figure to show him how to act or handle a bunch of kids? He didn’t even have a childhood of his own, really, constantly put in charge of the world and of others, so how could he be expected not to continually ruin the childhood of these two? He doesn’t want that for those younger than him and who he now has to take care of but there is literally nothing else he knows. There is only so many times he can tell Arin to keep going before it gets too much and he has to tell this kid that Maybe It Just Wasn’t Meant To Be, meanwhile the other one, Sora, is following his footsteps almost perfectly— also bad, because by god he wants these children to be happy in their lives, but what can one do against Destiny at this point?

I want Lloyd to be wholly unprepared while being able to exactly tell where all of this is going, yet thoroughly convinced that there’s nothing he can do about it. Because he can’t. The only thing he can do it try and try and pray to his grandfather that these two kids in the family line will for once not be Destiny’s favorite, knowing it’s already too late.

In case anyone was wondering where my art endeavours have disappeared to, My brainrot over my ballroom idea may have gone a bit overboard. Also yaayyy ethnicity headcanons finally ig?? I’ll list them in a separate post with explanations if necessary because half of them are absolutely chaotic. Very unsure abt Ras yet.
