Gentleman Jack

What better way is there to celebrate Pride month than making the hairstyles of our favourite 1830s lesbians?! I’m really glad I’ve managed to finish these in time but I cutting it close.

There are 4 hairstyles and 1 hat. The first hair is from season 1 and the rest are from the second series that was released recently. The top hat fits with just the first hair and has 15 swatches.

@moon-simmers​ was kind enough to share the bun texture used in Anne’s season 2 hair

Sifix's Xantheia Dress Edited

I made this edit a while back because someone asked for the Xantheia dress with the cut out panels filled in so it was more usable for their medieval fantasy gameplay. I posted it as a server exclusive for the Sims of History Discord server but I've cleaned it up and it's now ready for public release.

It will appear next to @sifix's original (which can be found here) but the original dress isn't needed for this edit to work.

Death's Mask

This mask has been a very long labour of love.

It was originally made for the character of Death from @theroyalthornoliachronicles's Simblreen story she released last year (found here) and it was a treat from last Simblreen that I ended up not publicly releasing because I realised there were clipping problems with it. This is an updated mask that works much better and a version of it with just the hands.

The original just had 1 swatch but there are now 24 swatches for the full mask and 6 swatches for the hands only version.

The masks are found in the Glasses category but they also use the hat uv space so they both aren't compatible with hats.

(The centre of the flower is actually a soul scrap from the Paranormal stuff pack which I thought was a fun nod to Death!)

Hedgehog Hair Set

This was my treat for week 1 of Simblreen

This set was made because the lovely @mrtri91 asked for a late 18th century Hedgehog hairstyle and then I got carried away!

There are 3 base hairstyles (Georgiana, Elliot V1 and Elliot V2), 5 add on accessory hairs and 2 bow overlays for Elliot V1. Overall, there are 32 different variations of the hairstyles (I think!).

The accessory hairs are 3 variations of curls hanging in the front, 1 set of curls hanging behind, and a set of rolls. They only work with the Hedgehog hair set for now and they are found in the piercings category. All of the front curls are under Left Brow Rings, the back curls are under Right Brow Rings, and the rolls are in Left Nose Rings. This means that you can have any combination of front curls, back curls and rolls without them conflicting with each other.

The bow overlays are found under Right Nose Rings. One is using @simulatedstyles's palette from his dresses of that era and the second uses @anachrosims's Georgian palette.

Simblreen 2024

I've left it a little late but I wanted to let you know that I will be participating in Simblreen this year!

As with the last few years I'll have a set of treats for each weekend and I will be posting a link to them on my blog where they will be available for the entire weekend.

The weekends this year are Friday 18th - Sunday 20th for week 1 and then Friday 25th - Sunday 27th for week 2.

Don’t worry if you miss them because all treats will be posted in the first week of November.

Historical Jockey Silks

I'm back with some more CC for you all!

This time, in order to make my races look as authentically victorian as possible, I spent a lot of time trying to create some Jockey Silks that would work!

This was a long labour of love, as I spent over a year trying to put the Prix de Thornolie together, and these silks were just one of the many things I put together!

Hannah Morning Dress

I was inspired to make this dress by this fashion plate from 1816. There are 2 versions: one with the chemisette included as shown above, and a second without it. I've used @peebsplays's palette of 32 swatches because its perfect for this era and one of them perfectly matches the fashion plate!

I've also made the chemisette as a separate accessory that works with version 2 of this dress and most other regency dresses by other creators. It has a solid swatch and then 5 different levels of opacity for both white and black.

Vivienne Hair

I saw a picture of my grandma as a bridesmaid in 1968 and wanted to recreate the hair so I did just that. The picture is black and white but she says they were wearing deep navy with hot pink flowers in their hair and a feather boa in the same colour (I also had her over my shoulder picking the exact shades she wanted for accuracy 😂) I couldn’t find any feather boas but the Island Living lei looked similar so I recoloured that quickly for the picture and I think it’s a pretty good comparison.

The roses are a separate accessory found in hats. I used the colours that @sifix uses for her dresses for these because I love matching things almost as much as her dresses. I also included the pink used for the preview.

Hi friends!

While I've been at work with this week's upcoming posts, they've had to take the backseat for a bit, as I found out on Mother's Day my lovely Mom is being evicted from her home with no reasons. Despite the place being horrible and unsuitable for anyone to live, my mom hasn't had any other options since finances has been so tight for so many years.

However, with the sudden notice she has no where to go, and very little funds to find a new home that is suitable for her, so my siblings and I have put together this gofundme in the hopes that we can help ease some of her financial burdens. And honestly, I do not want to see my mother on the street because of things not in her control.

I know we all come from different backgrounds and situtations, but if any of you are able to donate, help share, or even off silent support, my brothers and I would be eternally grateful. <3

Amethyst Day Dress

I saw this top from the new Crystal Creations pack and it was like my prayers for a good V shaped bodice had been answered!

There are 34 swatches with the white belt pictured, the same 34 colours with a brown belt, and then 6 dark swatches for the fancy widows among you. 

The shirt was borrowed from @zeussim's Lady Marina dress (found here).

Duna Hair

This is another hair inspired by a grandparent, this time my granny. I have a picture of her as a teen in the 40s with this hairstyle which she wore for most of her life. In the photo, the dress she wears is eerily similar to @linzlu’s 1940s Shirley dress (here) which is further conformation that everything she makes is perfectly accurate!

These are the hairs of Cinderella’s stepsisters from the 1950 film.

The set included the adult versions of Anastasia and Drizella with their respective hair accessories, and child versions. I’ve also added an edited version on the adult Anastasia hair to have the same fringe as the child one. This is because for these to be accurate I had to use a blocky fringe and I much prefer the child one.
