rye was once assigned a mission with vermouth where he’ll have to infiltrate a party alongside of her. it’s usually bourbon who has this role but he’s unavailable for that time slot so the mission fell to rye instead. vermouth tells rye to dress for the occasion and not wear his usual clothes. “ask bourbon for help if you need to, he’ll know what to prepare.”
rye took that as “go rummage bourbon’s closet for something to wear”, so he does.
rye, flipping through bourbon’s clothes, and finding something he thinks that’ll satisfy vermouth, “bourbon, can i borrow your top?”
bourbon, not looking up from his phone, “scotch is very busy.”
