I've gotten a handful of asks lately about whether or not I'll publish Busty Girl Comics.

You're in luck! They're already published!

I am planning a Kickstarter for a hardcover anthology but if you'd like the books more immediately or would prefer softcover, the books can all be found under the Shop link above and here:

And if you'd prefer to get signed books instead, I have a regularly updated stock over at my Storenvy shop

As a self identifying busty female, finding busy girl comics was a gold mine for me. Anyone (and I mean anyone, not just women, but anyone) who is busty or considers themselves busy can relate to the topic.

Busy Girl Comics is body positive and very diverse. This web comic “was a daily web comic that ran from January 2012 to December 2012”. These comics were created by Paige Halsey Warren, also known as “Rampaige”. She went on to “visually vent the frustrations she and her friends and family always joked about.”  Sadly, the series came to a close, but is still very relateable to many today.  What I love about the Busty Girl comic page is that there are many resources that any and all could use. There are resources for where to buy a proper bra, sizing, different types of bras, other bloggers that discuss this body part in the media, art and ect. There are even resources for binders and breast reductions! What I love about this web comic is that it isn’t bias. It doesn’t body shame those with smaller breast and depicts realistic issues that go along with having large breast.

Rampaige is our spotlight of the week because of this awesome project. It’s the gift that keeps giving!

Hi guys I’m obsessed with this shit lately because I don’t want anyone to have unhappy, unsupported boobs like I did. Even if you think your boobs and bras are fine, try it. It will make a big difference in comfort, support, and shape, even if you have small boobs or big boobs. A proper fitting…

ummm WAT

This is easily the most thorough and accurate tutorial I've ever seen. If you've been having trouble deciphering the magical boob code, check out this handy decoder ring.

After finally moving to the “Animation Capital of the World”, my contractor job ended abruptly (an unfortunate part of doing contractor jobs). This means I can focus on getting a job as a storyboard artist! But first I need to make sure I can continue to live here.

Therefore, to make ends meet until I find my next job, I’m opening up commissions again! To kick things off, I will be offering quick turnaround commissions. Each image will be 4”x6” (photo size) at 300 dpi.

Here’s all the things I’m happy to draw:

  • Portraits (both people and animals - makes great bday and holiday gifts)
  • Original characters
  • Fanart
  • Pin-ups
  • mini-comics as seen above
  • BGC-style comics and/or portraits

Things I’ll have to pass on:

  • Smut
  • Excessive Gore (scars and minor wounds are fine but intestines are a bit of a line for me)

If you’ve read all this and are interested in getting a commission, send me an email at [email protected]. In the subject line, write what style you want, a basic description of the image, and the price (ex. Full Color, Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask, $40) and explain what you’d like draw in detail in the body of the email. When you’ve sent the email, send the amount to the same email address via PayPal. When I’ve received the email and the money, I’ll send you a confirmation letting you know your commission is queued up. When your commission is finished, I’ll email it to you in .jpg format unless you’ve specifically requested a different filed format. (Please do not send orders in through Tumblr. It gets really hard to keep track of messages and they often get lost. Thank you.)

Because these prices are lower than my usual commission costs, I will only be running this promotion until Sunday, October 13, 2013. After the 13th, the lightning round will be over and the prices will go up.

If you have any questions, feel free to email me at [email protected]

I know money is tight for a lot of people right now. If you can’t commission me but would still like to help, signal-boosting this post would mean the world to me!

Thank you! I can’t wait to see what requests come in!! :D

I'm opening up a special promotional week of commissions for anyone interested!

If you ever wanted to get a portrait of yourself in the style of Busty Girl Comics (or one for your special someone or friends), I'd love to draw it! Just specify in the email that you want a "Busty Girl Portrait".

Interview with the Artist: Rampaige

Paige “Rampaige” Halsey Warren is most well-known for her webcomic series, Busty Girl Comics. The comics make light of issues those of us who are bustier tend to deal with, and since it’s creation in January of 2012, it’s hit home with a lot of women.

Today's comic was #300 and with that Busty Girl Comics is officially done posting daily.

Don't panic! The resourcesadvice, and store will still be here and I'll be posting updates from time to time about Vol. 3 (due out soon!), upcoming shows, related projects, and other things that I promise will be relevant.

There might be some comics you may not have seen so please check out the backlog, which will remain up, or buy the books (or you may want to reread them, which is highly encouraged <3). I will be moving on to other art projects and will announce when my next comic series starts up. I also have a sketch blog (not always safe-for-work; look for sfw tag at top) for those interested in my other artistic endeavors.

Now that that's out of the way, I have something to tell you all:

Thank you.

This comic has been a significant part of my life for the past 10 and a half months and it's been an adventure, to say the least. I had never thought I'd have the opportunity to make a comic that's read by so many people and made a difference for so many, especially so early in my career. This whole thing has been such a wonderful experience. I still have trouble realizing that the silly doodles I started out of frustration ended up giving so many, myself included, a new appreciation for our bodies and the busty people we care about. I never would have dreamed I could be a part of such a broad and welcoming community, let alone contribute to it as much as I have. You'll never know how much the readers of this series have meant to me this year. Thank you all so much.

Every time someone reblogs one of these comics, I feel ashamed that my breasts are too small... and I'm a D cup...

Avatar

I'm sorry you feel that way but why would my comics make you feel like that have to be any particular size? Whatever size you are is worth being happy about and if you don't relate to all of the problems that come from being larger than a D, isn't that a good thing? And if you don't relate to the perks, that doesn't mean you don't have any perks of your own that come from the size you are.

My comics are simply a way for people to vent about everyday frustrations and laugh about shared experiences. Not every comic is going to apply to everyone because we're all different. I should hope that everyone can still understand the perspective of the subject of each comic, even if they don't relate personally, and they don't take it as a personal insult when they don't relate.

I am so sorry, I know you've answer this before, but it was months ago, and I can't find it again! Where do you get all your awesome gifs?

Avatar

I like to hoard them. I follow lots of fandom sites and a couple of reaction gif blogs so when I come across one I know and like, I toss it into an animation folder and then into a subfolder with the reaction it depicts (ex. le gasp, oh hai, etc.)

I should also mention: I never edit them in any way so if the original gif-maker put a watermark on the gif, it'll still be there. I also know what movie/show/what-have-you each gif is from originally so shoot me an ask if you're ever curious.

BGC Advice: Charities

Since it's the season of giving and all that good stuff, could I get some help from you all in finding charities that support breasted people?

We all know how hard it is to afford bras and other supportive undergarments so if you know of a charity that helps support (literally and figuratively, of course) those in need please add it to the list? I'd particularly like to add charities that help people regardless of their size, gender identity, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, etc.

If you know of a charity that supplies breasted people with undergarments they would otherwise be unable to afford, please post it in the response box below (Expand the notes for responses; Links are allowed and encouraged) ?
