bold of all of us to assume Holt didn’t pick an exact date to compliment them both so they’d have validation horniness so that jake AND amy were in disadvantage during the heist

Oh man this show is fucking crazy and I love it

tbh that pregnancy subplot is undoubtedly the best writing we’ve seen so far this season and i’m ecstatic.

there’s genuine emotion + real human connection and ryan’s reassurance and personal investment in the baby’s future is so sincere. it really gave tosin cole an opportunity to take centre stage with some brilliant acting imo.

also just, the general way ryan was kind of weirded out by the whole thing to begin with but then quickly forgets about all that the moment he actually starts talking with the guy, seeing how much love he has for his kid?? that character development, emotional openness, and sincere ability to embrace the unknown/unfamiliar through focusing on the similarities between us rather than our differences like, epitomises to me what doctor who should be as a show.

i was initially quite worried about the cheesiness of the pting but in the end this episode absolutely nailed it.
