They’re married

Seriously tho David always grabs the inside of his thigh when he sits Like That and I am l i v i n g for it.

And Michael’s pout is so cute, much cuter when you realize it’s probably genuine and he hates everything about what he’s doing.

I did take note of David’s hand on his thigh 😌 I wish these photos were better quality. I’m that person that always zooms in on photos 😁 Poor Michael, I can relate, I hate having my picture taken too!

Fun body language fact. What David’s doing (and Michael to a lesser extent) is what I call shielding, it’s basically when you cover the most vulnerable parts of your anatomy, because you’re basically saying ‘I am feeling very uncomfortable and vulnerable right now and doing this makes me marginally less so.’ 

The opposite body language would be ‘manspreading’ which is saying ‘look, here I am, and I am perfectly comfortable and have no fear whatsoever because I am the most powerful person in this room and I don’t need to fear attack.’

What it always seems to me they’re doing (or been directed to do) is aiming for the casual, I am super cool and composed, look at my spread thighs look, but because they don’t genuinely feel it, they’re negating it with hands covering themselves.

I saw a post earlier that had an interview transcript blurb with these two and they were both talking about how doing photoshoots is the least favorite part of their job and they find it to be really aggravating. So knowing that, I’m laughing at the fact that Sheen’s expression - which on the surface appears to be going for a lighthearted, goofy sort of intensity - may very well actually be the expression of a man silently begging any higher power who would listen to ‘GET ME THE FUCK OUT OF HERE’

This is so awesome!!

So this is amazing for several reasons:

1.) Awesome supportive and accommodating family.

2.) The very idea of a Jurassic Park themed photoshoot.

3.) How adorable it turned out

4.) The fact that you just know that the kid in the T. Rex costume was having a blast the whole time.

the best jeff goldblum photoshoots are the ones where he looks like an exasperated museum curator who just got off the phone with his husband who informed him that their beloved border collie scuffed the living room floors which they JUST varnished last weekend and ugh sorry but he really doesnt have the time for this because he’s nursing a hangover from all the cherry merlot he consumed at last night’s company mixer which he’d promise himself he’d go easy on because he had a lot of errands to run the next day but he just got so caught up with trying to impress mrs van damme and has a tendency to hide his anxiety with booze which is something he’s been trying to work through but anyway he’s already at the tailor’s and he’s gotta get back to the office in 15 so he’ll see him at home and hangs up in a bit of a rush but realized that was kinda rude so he’s thinking of an appropriate emoji to send him to soften the blow while he’s waiting for darlene to bring him his smoking jacket
