NEWS: The fan favorite Tezuka character Rock Holmes is turning 75 this year. To celebrate, an entire set focusing on Rock is going to be released. These items will be available at a Rock themed pop-up store on June 7th.
For anyone wondering: I'm not entirely sure why most of the artwork presented is censored. This set is entirely focused on Rock; it won't be a surprise to anyone when the artwork is revealed to be Rock.

NEWS: A new Black Jack themed plush set will be available soon at the Black Jack pop-up limited shop. The set, called "Osamu Tezuka characters - Sit up ball chain mascot" will be for sale in Japan starting on November 23rd.

I’ll make a proper post once more information has come out, but the official Black Jack Twitter account has been making cryptic tweets about a new merchandise set. They appear to be part of the Tomonui line by Banpresto, and they said three plushes would be in the set. I expected these would be Black Jack, Pinoko, and Kiriko, but to my surprise…
Rock Holmes is the third character!
Their tweets have been very cryptic and only shown cropped concept art for the products. There’s no actual photos of the plushes yet or no release date. If I had to guess, I would say these will be out by November 2023 to go along with Black Jack’s 50th anniversary. Again, I will make a proper post with more information once it’s released.

Here’s something special I discovered today, these are all very old rendered animated gifs from the Osamu Tezuka website. I managed to find these archived on google images, unfortunately, clicking on these leads to a 404 page on the Tezuka website. I’m guessing these are from around 1999-2003.
