#i know that i'm gonna sound obnoxious when i say this#but i don't trust how most people seem to vote on these polls about who could capture kira#it's treated as more of a popularity contest than a genuine consideration of the question#firestar could NOT catch kira because 1) there's his name and face right there#and 2) do you remember how long it took him to piece together the bluestar mistyfoot and stonefur mystery??#he kept remarking on how much mistyfoot looked like bluestar#and he even made comments like: woahh just like the kits that bluestar lost :0#but the story had to literally shove the answer into his face for him to fully understand#even if you argue that firestars connection with starclan would help him... they will be far too vague and give him a prophecy instead#the one (1) way that i can see firestar surviving and beating kira is if the death note only takes one of his lives each time#in which case light could not kill firestar with the death note enough times for him to stay dead#(since there's a limit to how many times you can write someone's name in the notebook in the rule related to typos)#but then that's a question of WHEN in his life firestar is trying to solve the kira cases and how many lives he has left at that point#and it's also assuming that light won't catch on and inflict firestar with an injury/cause of death that not even starclan can heal#i assume that they can heal a single heart attack#but if light adapted and gave firestar a slow-wasting disease like kidney cancer... then our orange boy wouldn't stand a chance </3#please imagine Ls theme playing as i brainstorm all of this :P#polls#warriors#firestar#crossover#death note#light#update: i just looked over the tags on this poll to see other people's opinions#and as to the argument that light wouldn't kill a cat or understand who's looking for him...#if firestar is aware enough of twolegs to try to capture kira#then light should be aware enough of the cats in fantasy england to counter him#we're breaking both of the series' conventions in order for this showdown to happen#if we went strictly by canon then firestar wouldn't even notice the kira murders taking place#that raises the question: is this poll asking what would happen if these characters were actually pitted against each other?
