I’ll admit, I was exasperated at the end of The Broken Code when the protags were constantly jumping in and out of the Dark Forest to save one another. But it’s kind of sweet to remember that both of Rootspring’s parents have tragic backstories about being abandoned, while Rootspring has found himself in the most dedicated, “no cat left behind” friend group of all time 🥺🥺

I just think it's funny how they're the exact same age but while Flamepaw was an apprentice Rootspring went through everything that happened in TBC. And with the next book being Sky and Nightheart's the main focus on the cover..Idk I'm just desperate for SkyClan content :(
