not to /srs post about the muscle man anime but one thing that gets me abt heaven’s falling down paralleling sono chi no sadame is that jolyne and jonathan’s stories are just so similar. jonathan died trying to defeat dio and yes he didn’t initially suceed, but he saved erina and their unborn child which meant jotaro (who would eventually defeat dio) was born, and if dio hadn’t taken jonathan’s body the crusaders wouldn’t have been able track him down in the first place. in the same way, jolyne died and wasn’t able to defeat pucci, but it was her sacrifice that allowed emporio to survive and eventually defeat pucci himself and… idk, the fact they both died to protect someone they loved… the fact the world showed them so little kindness and yet they still made the ultimate sacrifice… it means a lot to me okay
