In other fighting games, raid bosses are powered up versions of actual fighters. My idea is similar yet different. If you defeat these variants, you get to play as them, and for characters who don't have 2nd form, race to the finish, I guess.

It would be cool if other Nintendo franchises were brands in the Mario Movie. Like Splatoon theme art supplies, Garden stuff themed after Pikmin and Poké Mania never stopped and its the Disney of this world. Imagine a Toad walking out of Nook Mart with Lon Lon Milk and a Chozo Rotisserie Chicken.

According to Scott Yeldir of the FDA, it is merely chozo themed and is 100% not chozo.
Though if you aren't interested in that particular brand Andy Ross and Gary Ham did recommend Lombardi Chicken and Loftwing Chicken respectively.
