how i fell for him, huh? you humans aren’t holding back with making a fool of me…

trust me when i say it was difficult not to. our friendship started as a political alliance- he actually listened to me- agreed with me. i wasn’t used to anyone doing that, even if it was just some rowdy insecticon rebel. we were really onto something, you know- we were going to rule cybertron together.

we grew comfortable with each other quickly. and when an insecticon is comfortable around you, you’re made very aware of it. he was hugging me, grooming me, nuzzling me- he couldn’t keep his servos off of me! how was i not supposed to start feeling something? i remember coming to him one day when everything just seemed too much, and he held me until i fell into recharge. no “stop being an idiot, starscream!”, no pushing me away, no questioning at all. i’ve never felt safer in my life.

from then on, the line between friends and lovers just kept getting blurrier and blurrier, and then one day we were conjunxed. i have a lot of regrets, but he will never be one of them.
