You’re very inspiring 🥺 I love art and I love your answer. I plan to practice more. Unfortunately I am awful at shadows and skin in general.
I don't have many drawings from when I didn't know how to make shadows and how to relate skin color to those shadows, but in the first photo I show you a progress of those years. By the end of 2017 I made the drawing of zayn in color, and the two below in the middle of 2018 and those I was able to draw it in a more fluid way. The last one was in 2019 and has a lot of details
And I only did this by watching youTube tutorials from very professional people, and I may never reach the same level as them but I'm proud of it.
So if I did it, you can do it, you just have to be patient.
