BTS mvs → 100M+ views

They now hold the record for the fastest K-pop group MV to hit 20 million views. The approximate time it took to break this record was 87 hrs and 50 min.

JIN: During that time, I don’t know if it’s happiness or sadness, It gives us a strange feeling. The finishing of the last (performance) is the most impressive, it really makes my heart full every time i perform.

JM: In the first showcase last December 13, I performed in front of about 500 fans. Every time we perform live, the venue gradually grows larger. Recently, I saw a lot of people in the arena tour. I’m touched every time.

SG: It was also really fun participating in big music festivals like summer Sonic and A-nation! 

SG: When I was listening to the award speech, memories from seven years of my trainee days came one after another. The hard times, the happy times, different kinds of memories were rolling inside my head, my chest filled up and before I knew it, I was crying. I just couldn’t stop…

JK: I felt very grateful towards ARMY. Whatever may happen, I was planning not to cry on stage but when I saw our fans’ faces, the tears came out, because they struggled with us and supported us. So, I was really touched and I cried. I…we were really happy.

BTS + 2016 Awards

According to Bighit Entertainment, WINGS’ Extension: ‘You Never Walk Alone’ will be released next month on the 13th, telling a story that was not conveyed in BTS’ second full album ‘WINGS’ that was released last October. 

As BTS produce the title track themselves they possible could have taken part in producing, lyrics, and composition for the new song. It excites one’s curiosity whether the track will turn out to be an intense dance song such as ‘FIRE’ or ‘ 피 땀 눈물’ or a hip hop song with sweetness like ‘I NEED U’.  

The album is unique as it is not a repackage album nor a special album but an extension. Previously, only the 4 versions ‘W’, ‘I’, ‘N’, ‘G’ came out and with the release of the extension, many have suggested that the remaining ‘S’ of ‘WINGS’ means ‘side story’ or ‘spin-off’. 

The concept has still not yet been revealed however, BTS hinted a spoiler of the new album during their gayo year-end stage where the title ‘You Never Walk Alone’ appeared. 

There are 3 weeks left until the release but the industry is already hot on the new comeback. Many groups who are scheduled to have a comeback in Feb. are attempting to adjust the date to avoid going up against BTS. 

It is a possible influence that BTS have good records altogether in both album and digital sales. In addition, on the 25th, as soon as the pre-order sales began through the online sites, so many fans went to the site causing the homepage server to go down, proving the popularity of BTS.
