I just really want to punch Qui-Gon Jinn in the face

@jhaernyl gave me a blow-by-blow of the Melida/Dann debacle. And I just…I have never wanted to punch anyone in the face this badly in my life.

Me too, so damn bad.

….I’d rather punch Jude Watson in the face, to be honest*. Or the “editor” to the JA series, who was criminally negligent on so many fronts.

Both would be brilliant, and make my year.

*yes, metaphorically.

How about all three?

I’d metaphorically punch Qui-Gon in the face in Legends canon and Jude Watson and the “editor” in RL.

Covering all of my bases, so to speak.

::shares cookies:: Huh. I guess I place a lot of blame with Dooku, who I think of as a general asshat. And I do have a soft spot for broken people who struggle on in spite of their teacher/role model’s idiocy and/or abuse. 

….Qui-Gon does need a clue-by-four upside the head, though.

I agree that a lof ot blame lies with Dooku. I go even a step above and place a lot of blame with Yoda as well, but that doesn’t absolve Qui-Gon for me.

It’s kind of like a cascade effect.
