Trillium: a single flower formed by three petals, which dies if one is removed.
#WOWOWOWOWW#THIS IS GORGEOUS#I AM ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE WITH THIS#THERE IS SO MUCH DEPTH!!!!!!#Bones’ heart is in a drawer in his chest because - as pathos - he is quick to bring out emotional appeals#but you can also see where all his other ties have been cut – the ties to the father he euthanized and the daughter he left behind on Earth#his hand weighs heavily on his heart keeping it safe but also paying it perhaps too much attention#Spock’s heart isn’t visible at all from the outside since he favors logos and suppresses his emotions#that logic is the flourishing laurel wreath on his head#and the existence his heart is only evident in his connection to Jim and Bones#a connection which he tried - and failed - to cut via Kholinar (the scissors are chipped from the attempt at severing his friendships)#his free hand caresses the laurels treating them with a reverence he isn’t sure he’s willing to show his friends#And then we come to Jim – the authoritative ethos sitting comfortably in his chair as captain of the ship#Jim is the balance between Bones and Spock#his heart is visible but doesn’t pull out like Bones’#and he wears logics’ laurel wreath but it isn’t as unwieldy as Spocks’#his hands are free and resting on his ship and his legs - his modes of agency his tools for making decisions and moving forward#And all three of them are irrevocably tied together by a bold and powerful friendship#I LOVE THIS ART SO MUCH HELP!!!!!!!#AAAAAAAAAHH#The Triumvirate via anifanatical
