Why We Fight script, Dick is so excited for his bestie that he got another star on his jump wings. That's MY man out there being a badass and doing extra work and shit.

the naive optimism and belief of eugene's vs. the cynicism and distaste for religion of leckie's is so amazingly exemplified in the script — and also makes the hostility of leckie towards sledge more apparent, as it's kind of unclear in the actual scene. eugene's “then don't believe” and leckie's response is hilarious as well
