What's a storyboard revisionist?
once again tumblr fails to tell me that i have stuff in my inbox thanks tumblr
a storyboard revisionist makes changes requested by the directors to the original boarder’s work. so basically, the storyboarder will work on the first pass of an animatic from the script. it will be edited and dialogue/music/timing added and then get passed to the director(s). the director will come back with notes after watching the first pass (like they want the timing changed on certain shots/extra dialogue/changes made to drawings/new shots etc) and the board revisionist will apply these notes.hopes this makes sense! it’s a position that gets overlooked a bit, and i think in smaller studios most of this would be done by the board artist themselves.

I don't use Twitter or Tumblr, but wanted to let you know that I got my print safe and sound! It's gorgeous, and you're awesome, and it's going up on my kitchen wall.
