Walked a shortcut path through the woods behind our house today. It was terrifying and beautiful to this city slicker. Terrifying because some parts were pretty dense and there were lots of big bushes for bears, Cougars and other animals that live here to hide in. Beautiful because I've only been in a similar forest once before. It smelled divine and was lush and beautiful and green.
