Briar and Bramble

I started doing needlework again and made a cauldron pin cushion with fabric, felting wool, thread, rice, a sachet bag, a piece of quartz and a plastic cauldron my kids use with their dolls that they let me use if I promised to buy more when they come out in stores. 😂😍🧵🪡

I also made a mushroom-ish one that I think needs cute ribbon on it. 😂

Started the drying process for the more natural decor aspect in our home! I’m trying something new to me with the cranberries this year. You pour boiling water over them, wait until they are done popping, drain and then freeze for several hours before drying in the oven. The orange slices I just put in the dehydrator. 😅 I’m going to try a pomander again this year but I haven’t had much luck in the PNW. 🎄

My kids have been sick and I haven’t been able to make anything new for the shop. If you could check it out and share the link to help a mama maker out that would be amazing. ♥️

First felt piece for the shop is being washed tonight! I made something simple and small as a tester. It’s premium felt fabric and gives the piece a soft cushy look when dry. I might make a slighter bigger one for more variety in the shop. ♥️

Everything that is currently available as of Nov.3, 2018! I have one piece that is stitched but I need to go buy felt and sealant to finish the hoop today. NEW! 🕯🖤🕯 Inspired by the color scheme of the new “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” and made with a more pagan flair compared to the show. Perfect gothy witchy piece that features the word: “witch” prominently in rosy red lettering. Also including a triple moon in white for contrast with a skull as the full moon. Two small red stars border the triple moon. All stitched onto black aida fabric. ♥️

I hope you all had a blessed night. Whatever you may call it. I gave offerings, made crafts and did workings for my home and family. This is my favorite time of the year and I’m glad I was able to do so much with it. I woke up today with Christmas mode in place around me but I’m not quite done with the vibe of this time. After November 7th I GUESS I’ll give in a bit. 😉🖤🕯🎃

I made a candle inside a pumpkin yesterday for my Samhain altar! I took a white mini pumpkin and carved it out. Then filled it with candle wax. Black with a slight red tinge. I added rose, frankincense, copal, geranium, mugwort, wormwood, gardenia fragrance, rose fragrance and then on a drippy aesthetic layer I added dragons blood, red sandalwood, cinnamon and a dragons blood essence incense powder. I made two votives to go with the pumpkin. So cute and creepy!

Weirdly satisfying. ✨

I’m really terrible with custom orders. My friend requested this some time ago and I just got to it this last week. This is why I don’t offer commissions officially. I still have 3 requests to attend to. I’m sorry. 😭 Sometimes it’s life, not finding supplies I need or having to place an order for something which proves financially draining, sometimes my anxiety shuts my brain off when I sit down to the task or I just can’t find the inspiration. Every time I get to it though and complete some aspect I feel so much better. 💜💙

I’ve been so busy with errands and my kids that I haven’t completed anything in a little bit! I’ve been getting in stitching here and there but I haven’t had uninterrupted time to finish anything. I really want to get some listings up though! I have errands again tomorrow but I’ll likely have these done and up by Saturday (Sept. 6th, 2018). The Horned God I’m still working to complete and getting opinions on as I create his shape. The other two just need a frame painted and to be finished up on a hoop with the backs done. SOON! 🖤
