My friend let me know this lighter exists. Cross stitch roses? Obviously made for me. 🌹 She even named hers after my SCA/ Heathen writer name. 😍 When I saw it in the store I HAD to have it. So thank you Chante for letting me know it exists! I wouldn’t have looked otherwise as I tend to use the long necked lighters. I’m charging it to awaken and fuel the magic to empower myself and my creativity whenever I turn the wheel to spark the flame. It has yet to be named but I can feel it forming at the tip of my tongue. Like a spoonful of warm honey. I can see it and feel it but it’s still working through the thick liquid to take shape. 🍯

Finished this pocket sized travel dream pillow for my love. It’s almost nothing like I originally intended BUT it turned out fine. I made the blend especially suited to their preferences and used “the good mugwort” among other things. 😂🧙🏻‍♀️💙

I was asked how I make my candles. There are a million tutorials out there but here are some things I do. I generally make magical candles for myself. I put them in jars for storage, protection against our million fans and it’s honestly just less messy. When I used to make candles to sell I made pillars mostly and sometimes the seal wasn’t fully on or was getting old and the entire contents of a tall candle would flood the counter. 🙃 I make them on the fly and use herbs and oils. I’ll collect and bless each herb I’m using them again as I’m combining them in my mortar and pestle. I add them to melting wax and either chant, sing, hum or whatever while I mix the ingredients. When I feel like they’ve saturated the wax (if I have time I leave them and let them cool then reheat) I’ll add oils, stir and then turn off the heat and the herbs fall to the bottom. I pour from the top liquid. Small bits get into the candle but not giant chunks just asking to become a blazing torch. If I want more herbs in my work I’ll set the jar in a circle of them or burn extra as incense. If I’m planning to make a candle and have a few weeks I add herbs to oils to cold infuse and use that over lots of flammable bits in my candle. 🕯🕯🕯

I did this on the fly and it helped loads so I thought I’d share as it’s easy af. Just be prepared to accidentally potentially nap after. 😅 ‪I was full of anger (stress, anxiety, etc) but instead of letting it grow I took a black tealight candle in one hand and called out with my other hand open above it to fill the candle with everything I wanted to burn away. I burned it in a salt holder for drawing in the yuck and cleansing it. 🕯#witchtip‬

Day 10 of the #30DaysMagicalRoots Challenge 🔮 is #SPELL. We had a busy day of cleaning and maintenance coming in to fix things. So after a stranger in the house my babies needing some calming. I sing a special song to them that recites the names of their family to them and how they love them. I've done it since my toddler was born. It seems to help. My voice and the energy it brings reciting words of love from so many. Some might not consider it a spell but to me it is in a way. A spell for sleep perhaps! 😴 @plentifulearth @witchingbythemoon @a_witchs_path

Made Nectarine jam for my family this morning! Nectarines are known to be good for workings of fertility, love, romantic relationships (marriage especially), granting wishes, abundance, longevity, sensuality and happiness among other things. Use in rituals, cooking/baking (or eating raw!), as offerings, etc. I used ours to enhance some of these properties in our home as we consume the jam. I saved the pits for magical workings later. You can try to use them to garden or dry them and store them for spells and rituals. Every part is useful! You can even see large seeds such as this as the "heart" of the fruit or veggie you are using.

Pretty proud of this! You can find it via @thewellandspindle! This piece is based off of a 15th Century woodcut by Ulrich Molitor. A Medieval scholar who was a skeptic of witchcraft and who also wrote a treatise on the subject. The image seems to show two witches either giving sacrifice of two animals or using them as ingredients in a potion of sorts. Though the contents of image were most likely seen as evil in nature and associated with the Christian Devil of that time I have taken it back as an empowering image. The symbolism one may find in it alone can suggest more ancient and powerful understandings. Or perhaps just the artistic style catches your eye. Take it as you wish. 🔥🔥🔥 http://www.thewellandspindle.com 🔥🔥🔥 #witch #witches #witchcraft #medieval #woodcut #woodburned #etsy #etsyshop #etsyseller #forsale #handmade #ritual #spell #altar #witchhouse #cauldron #pagan #magic #empowered #wild
