These lovely "beads" or "coils" can be slid onto dreads as a lovely hair accessory or over the ends of braids with the help of a small rubber hair band (or spiral the hair around the ends). Also, good for beards! I got the idea from watching "Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit" were the dwarves had such fabulous beard accessories! Made from 16 gauge natural bare copper wire. This means they are NOT tarnish resistant and will darken beautifully with time and use. They will darken naturally after being made so if you purchased this item they may arrive darker than pictured. Copper is humanity's first metal and has been known to be magically good for being a good conductor of energy, to be used as an amplifier of thoughts and sending psychic messages/communication, in healing spells and rituals, and more. Many believe copper is good for healing or alleviating the pain of arthritis and rheumatic diseases as well as detoxification, circulation, increase in energy, et cetera.
