I love to spin whether it’s jumping on when my kids are contently playing, in the few extra minutes I have before leaving to an appointment, at night while I wait for my kids to go to sleep, etc. I most especially love to spin when I can create the environment to delve deeper into myself as I work. Tonight I’ve got a new to me salt lamp illuminated with a lavender infused tea light, French lavender essential oil dabbed behind my ears and on my wrists, black tourmaline (suggested by @oldeways on IG) to rest on my phone while it plays enchanting sounds, nag champa burning because it soothes me and herbs burning away in freshly cleaned out and anointed cauldrons. The picture isn’t much to look at but the energy that’s slowly weaving together as I set the scene to spin is creeping together like roots of a tree as I add layer by layer of intentionally chosen elements. I’m in love with it. 💜
My first time using my Lazy Kate! I can’t wait to ply this! Any bits that turn into a 2 ply only or end up a single go into my packaging for my shop! I wrap every order in tissue with handspun yarn to tie it! 🧶

My first spun single on my spinning wheel! 😍 Along with the pieces that got messed up. 😩 I don’t know exactly what I’m going to do with it yet so I’m going to start spinning something else. 😅
