This reminds me of our honeymoon, waking up in the Pacific Northwest corner of the country in our camper van and meandering out to the beach in the early morning mist. We were alone, the only two people awake and moving in the most wide open landscape. Hand in hand, we walked along the sand, over rocks, stood in the middle of splashing waves in the quiet morning. Before we parted, I felt so close to God, I just wanted to spend a moment longer with Him in the serene slice of heaven on earth. I sat down on some driftwood, Kyle did the same on his own; we both sat in silence and communed with our Creator. One of my favorite memories from our trip.
