Please pray for me. I feel so lost right now. I look at you and how much you love God and I remember when I was like that. I feel like I keep asking to hear from him, yet I don't feel like I'm hearing much at all. Everything feels so chaotic. Finances all out of whack. Everyone else around me is so secure happy and in love about to get married. I long for that so much..I just want to be happy. I am praying for you! My heart goes out to you so much! You have no idea how much I wish I was with you right now so I could give you a big hug and let you know how much I love you for sharing your heart with me and just to comfort you. You have a longing in your heart for God and desire to be close to Him again and have your heart reignited. That's awesome!

So many people can get apathetic about being in a place like that but your eyes are open for a reason and your heart is longing for a purpose. That is God drawing you to Himself.

I just want to encourage you, no matter how you feel or how chaotic life is around you, no matter what circumstances you're in, no matter how everyone else APPEARS to be doing, if you set all that aside and come as you are before the Lord, He will meet with you. If you are genuinely seeking Him and crying out to Him, He will answer. He wants you to draw near and He is not far.

Life can get noisy and hinder our hearing. When that happens, sometimes for me it helps to write out everything that's filling up my mind and heart and then come to God after I've cleared my brain and I'm less distracted. Sometimes I need to get out a song and worship ("Come to Me" by Bethel Music ft. Jenn Johnson is a great song! "Find You" On My Knees by Kari Jobe is too).

I just want to encourage you: don't lose hope or give up, but come to Him all the more! He is faithful. He is present. If you come to Him with that longing He will fulfill it.

"Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me." Psalm 51:12

My love and passion for God is all because of Him and His love and grace. I can't take any credit for it, He's the source.
