Peru being a cuddle bug as always
This is Skinny Girl. We found her in 2018, in the rain at our patio door. She was about a year old. She grew to be a sausage of a cat. Fat and happy. The last few months, her thyroid got all out of whack and she lost a lot of weight. Then, this past Monday, December 13, she had deteriorated more than we expected (after being on some medication for her thyroid).
We made the horrible decision to let her go, and cross the rainbow bridge. It's never an easy decision. This is my roommate and best friend giving her hugs and bawling his eyes out, saying his last goodbyes.
I can only imagine she's somewhere, fat again, belly up, in the sun, purring and enjoying her new life. All snacks, all the time, no more dirty litter boxes (or boxes at all).
RIP SkinnyGirl. We'll miss you.
I don't mean to bring it down. I just wanted to pay her a tribute. Thank you.
