I, as well as many other Melodys, are proud of BTOB’s win on Show Champion! I might not be a fan anymore but I am very well aware of these mens’ talents and hard work, so I’m really happy for them, especially since this song is really nice. Also, I apologize for the lack of posts and not being active; I actually have quite a lot of work from school, and not only that, I just don’t really feel like posting. I just want to thank you each and every one of you who have been following this blog since I started posting, and liking and reblogging my posts, which really means a lot to me. I’ll post whenever I feel like it, so please feel free to unfollow, as I’ve seen some done so already, hehe. And I’m always open for requests, so don’t be shy!
I can’t believe this blog has reached 4,000 followers! Thank you all so much, and I’m sorry as well. I haven’t been updating recently but you’re all still following this blog, and liking and reblogging my posts. I hope you’re all having a great summer so far, and if you have any requests, don’t be shy! :) I’m not busy at all.
Happy 2 Years to boyst0boys!
It's a bit weird knowing I created this sideblog two years ago during my junior year in high school, and now I'm in my second half of my first year in college. Although I don't post as much compared to the past, it makes me happy seeing people liking and reblogging my posts, so thank you to all of my followers and to those who visit this blog, I really am appreciative and thankful.
I don't really have much to say other than I'm not busy, so please feel free to request something because I absolutely have no idea what to post. :)
Hello! In order to celebrate BTOB's comeback and boyst0boys reaching 3,000 followers, I changed the theme and decided to use a different kind compared to the past layouts. I just want to say thank you so much for following this blog and appreciating my works that I posted on here. Hope you all enjoy the new theme and BTOB's new release as well.
Hello! I'm sorry, very sorry, that I haven't updated recently. I've never not updated for that long, so I apologize. I'm kind of busy doing my own things, I'd rather spend my time doing that than this... lol. I didn't realize it was the boys' 2nd anniversary until yesterday, so I knew I had to make a post for them. I'll start updating every other day like usual, so please look forward to that.
OH MY GOD! Only 1 year I've been having this blog and I already have 2,000 people following this blog. I honestly just can't believe it! I always say this each and every time I make an announcement but I really am thankful for each and every one of you, seriously. I told myself I would do this once I reach 1,000 followers, then when this blog reached its one year. So finally, once BTOB's upcoming album releases, I'll do a giveaway! I'm not really sure how to do one but I'll figure it out, so be on a look out for that! Once again, thank you guys and only 2 (or 1 more day) 'til their album and music video release!
A bit earlier than expected, but to celebrate BTOB's upcoming comeback, with their title track being "Honk Honk," I decided to use a new layout with elements that match with the concept. Next week on the 17th is the day, so mark your calendars and in the mean time, check out the theme and thank you to accioloki for making such a cool one. Enjoy!
Happy 1 Year Anniversary to boyst0boys!
So it's been a year since my very first post on this blog. I can't believe it's been a year since I've created this blog. I got into BTOB when they released "WOW" and ended up creating a graphics blog dedicated to them 5 months later. I didn't expect to have more than 1,900 followers and to be honest, it's not all that exciting. Just knowing people like my stuff makes me happy. And although I've mentioned this many times, from the bottom of my heart, I really am thankful and appreciative for all you liking my graphics. I'm not an expert so it really means a lot to me.
I was a junior, and I just turned 17 when I created this blog, not knowing what I'ma do after high school. I just turned 18 yesterday and I think graphic designing is probably it, and if it wasn't for you all, I probably wouldn't have thought about doing this, so thank you.
Although I kinda lost interest in BTOB when they were promoting "Thriller," with "Honk Honk," hopefully I'll become the fan I was again. I hope you all look forward to their comeback later this month, which is on the 17th!
Happy New Years everyone! I hope your Christmas and New Years went well. Although I wanted to post this on this blog's first anniversary, I'd rather just post it now. I just want to say thank you to all of my followers, each and every one of you. I'm very thankful and appreciative of you all liking my graphics, which means a lot to me, because I'm only an amateur and I'm graduating high school this summer, and I think graphic designing is what I want to do as a career.
GIF Tutorial
Someone asked me how to make gifs so pretty and "dreamy" like mines, hehe. This will be for Mac and it should work for Windows as well, if there's any differences, I'll state them as I go on.
- This step isn't necessary but this makes it easier to control the video (idk what that thing in the red circle is called). Open your video file on Quicktime Player and go to Edit, then Trim (or hold Command and T) to trim the part(s) you want to make a GIF out of. If you use Windows, you'll have to purchase Quicktime Player Pro to enable trimming or use another program (mines came with it). After that, go to File, then Close (or hold Command and W). When saving, under Format, choose any quality you want (I usually choose the highest, 1080p).
- Open the video by going to File, Import, then Video Frame to Layers.
- If you DIDN'T do step one, for Mac users, the supported video file is .MOV and .AVI (some .avi files won't work due to the codecs). For Windows users, the supported video file is .AVI, .MP4, and .MOV. Depending on the GIF you're making, if it's lengthy, click on the "Limit To 2 Frames," if not, click on "Selected Range Only" or "From Beginning To End" depending on what you're making. The first two options and the third option will make a difference in your GIF, refer to step 8.
- Crop the part of the GIF you want (for 2x2 Photosets, the width is 245 px and height is whatever you feel comfortable with). For the best results, try to crop the inside of the picture only (like the one above) or else your GIF will have borders.
- Once your GIF is cropped, change the time for each GIF by selecting the very first one, holding shift, and selecting the last one. Right click any of the thumbnails and select "Other." I usually choose 0.07 or 0.08 seconds depending on the GIF, so choose whatever you feel comfortable with.
- To save your GIF, go to File, and click on Save for Web & Devices.
- For the top part, I used these settings from other tutorials I used, so I recommend using this. In the bottom, where it says "655K", the GIF must be UNDER 1MB (1000K), I usually go 998K at the most just to be safe.
- There! Your GIF is finished! Like I stated in step 3, if you don't select the "Limit To Every" option, your GIF will look like the top one, much smoother (both GIFs are the same exact scene, nothing is cut). For longer GIFs, use the third option if you want most (or all) of the layers.
The GIFs above are simple, so if you want to add textures, psds, coloring, or add quality to the GIF, then keep continuing.
- I use Topaz (I used to use just Sharpening) to add quality to my gifs. You'll need to do this to each and every layer, and that will take a long time to do so. Refer to this post to create a Script that will Topaz or Sharpen each and every layer. For my Topaz settings, I honestly do not remember my Topaz settings as I downloaded it somewhere (it was last summer, so I honestly don't know). This is the most I can give you.
- When using the Script, the last thumbnail in the frames must be selected, same thing with the layers.
- After Sharpening or using Topaz for your gifs, the psds or textures you choose MUST be on top of all of the layers (the right side), and the first thumbnail must be selected for it take effect on all layers.
- Save the gifs how you should save it and you're finished!
I'll update this tutorial on this page so for those who like or reblog this can simply click on the link and read/use an updated tutorial. Thank you for taking the time to read and use my tutorial, I hope it was helpful. If you have any questions or need help, just hit me up in the ask box!
It's only been 8 months since I've created this blog and already I have 1,000 followers, I'm honestly in disbelief, I can't believe I actually have 1,000 people following this blog. From the bottom of my heart, I just want to say thank you, not for following me but for liking my graphics. I'm a senior in high school and I'll be graduating next summer. Thinking about college, what I'm going to major in, and all that stuff, I don't really know what I wanna do in life but I think graphic designing is probably it. I'm not the best and probably just average when it comes to making these but I learn on the way because of you all. When I see you all liking my graphics, complimenting them, and requesting, it makes me really happy. Like I said in my first post, it's not the amount of followers that make me happy, but knowing that people like my posts that do. I make people happy by making these graphics, they make me happy by liking them.
Once again, thank you all, from the bottom of my heart. I really am thankful and appreciative for each and every one of you. ♥ Please do keep supporting BTOB and this blog.
To celebrate BTOB's comeback, I decided to use a new layout! It's similar to the last layout but the only difference is this has a header and the navigation's on top. Also, a huge thank you to all my followers, especially to the new ones that I've been receiving so much lately. It truly makes me happy knowing people like my graphics. Hope you're all satisfied with the new layout, and with BTOB's new release as well.
Hey guys! If you have questions about BTOB or the members individually, here's the place to ask! Please follow a fellow BTOB blog, delulu-melodies!
Update!
Hello! Recently, I've been getting a lot of questions so I decided to make a FAQs. For those new and old to this blog, please visit here before you ask any questions. Also, I added some other stuff for those wondering why I don't make graphics of fan-related material and some brief info about me.
I'll be updating the FAQs page as time goes by and honestly, I'd rather receive requests than questions so please do request, because I don't really know what to make. And because I'm receiving questions more than requests, if you need help with anything (how to make a gif, for example) then please feel free to ask me! I'll definitely help. And I don’t allow anonymous for my ask because I don’t feel comfortable with it. If that’s a reason for holding you back to request, I’ll keep your request private.
Also, I'll be starting my senior of high school (woot woot! last year!) next week so I'm not sure if I'll be able to post frequently (I'm pretty sure I can since I have a lot of free time) but just a heads up if you start wondering why I'm not posting as much.
And for those who didn't know, BTOB is making a comeback early next month and I believe on the 28th of this month, "When I Was Your Man," a track from their upcoming mini-album will be unveiled on the radio so do look forward to that!
Wah! Thank you so much! I didn't think I would gain these many followers in less than 2 months. And it's BTOB's first anniversary so this celebration is even more special. You don't how much I appreciate each and every one of you. ♥ Honestly, just knowing people like my graphics makes me happy cause I actually enjoy making graphics, doing little experimenting and learning new things when I make them. Also, please don't be shy! I am ALWAYS open for requests and next week is my one week of Spring Break so I'll have time to fulfill them. Just be sure NOT to request fan-related material, please. Also, if you can, please be specific on what kind of graphic you want me to make and provide a video link if necessary. Well I hope you're all enjoying Spring Break and please be sure to congratulate BTOB on their first anniversary!
It hasn't been 3 weeks since I created this blog so thank you so much, I really appreciate it. I honestly don't care about the number of followers this blog has but just knowing people like my graphics is enough for me. Please do look forward to more posts I will be posting in the future. Also, in less than 7 hours (Korea Standard Time), it is going to be Changsub's 23rd (or 22nd) birthday! So please wish him a happy birthday!
