Clift drinking milk. Candid by Stanley Kubrick.
Extremely cute series of Montgomery Clift playing with a little boy called “Flip”.
Per the magazine caption:
“‘Flip’ McCarthy gets a teetering ride from "Uncle” Monty as Flip’s mother enjoys it…”
(Let’s get this out of the way now: the other man’s hot too.)
Edit: The other man’s Kevin McCarthy, and I cannot believe I didn’t know about him. This will have to be rectified. Thank you pookistheone for clarifying.
Another Stanley Kubrick photograph for the day (last one). He was only 17 when he shot this and others I posted today, yet he was already a hired professional.
I don’t know the story behind this shot but the young man looks antsy, as if awaiting some important news.
Boxer turned actor Walter Cartier taking a nap with his younger brother Vincent. 1948.
Not the usual type of candids I post, but this is cute. At first look I thought those two were twins, but born in 1921 Vincent (in the back) was a year younger.
