Today I worked on furthering the concept of what my leopard gecko would look like as a ‘dragon’. I’ve got some additional concept sketches of Riese earlier in this blog. I’d like to make this species a common creature in my headworld, Kyara.

This creature is exclusively terrestrial, existing mostly in the desert and temperate climates of Kyara. Primarily carnivorous, these guys eat about once a week and are generally nocturnal. They are clumsy when climbing but dig well and live in caves and dens. They are not fast moving but they are flexible, tenacious, and stubborn. They are capable of carrying and pulling a significant amount of weight and share a symbiotic relationship with many Byondi tribes.

They are typically very docile, but can be viciously protective. They are not sentient but are smart animals.

I currently do not know what colors they are found in; this concept was mostly to figure out their physical appearance. But I threw the colors of many leopard gecko morphs on there for shits and giggles.

Yeps, this is absolutely normal behaviour! So just enjoy the cuteness of this leobaby!

She is literally the cutest and no one can tell me otherwise. This is a perfect example of how inquisitive and sweet reptiles can be!
