Okay reading abt Amir's fav scents made me think, what are the smells that he doesn't like? Are there any scents that trigger him, maybe remind him of home/his household and fill him with dread?

I REALLY had to think about this one but I think I've got a solid start.

Artificial cleaners especially in heavy pine or lemon smells. Of course Amir's family didn't do their own cleaning so the staff that was hired on did literally everything for them. I think more than disliking the smell itself, Amir just associates the powerful industrial cleaner smell with a hermetically sanitized home devoid of any signs it was actually lived in by people, kind of like if an abandoned hospital was still as clean as it was while in use. Kitchen smells never overpowered the cleaner smell and also the cleaner smell never had time to fade before the staff was back in mopping the floors again. This probably also brings up latent tension for Amir as his parents would sometimes treat the staff rudely or with open disdain and as he grew into his older teen years he started to realize that's kind of incredibly repugnant but of course his parents weren't open to any criticisms on his part. So. Unpleasant smell in general that serves as an olfactory gateway to a hostile, barren home and drags up early memories of him beginning to split away from his parents and the early stages of their rift.

Also, Amir's mother uses perfume like she's committing a hate crime so several high end, designer fragrances now make him absolutely sick to breathe: Dior's Poison (hello 1985) and Yves Saint Laurent's Paris make him gag (derogatory)

Do they have a specific smell on them? Somehow Mori has a musk vibe and I would just put my nose into his neck.

Ohhgh i'm so weak to getting esoteric and fanfictiony with character smells but I can confirm Mori's got a little bit of a masculine musk going on. Not unpleasant per se but he tends to sweat a fair amount and smells pretty "au natural". Again, though its not specifically unpleasant unless he's post set at a show THEN he smells Sweaty. Amir always smells good, sorry. Succubus' privilege. Tends to smell warm, maybe a little coppery. Traces of cosmetics/bath products that smell good but are hard to singularly identify. His hair smells amazing.

Akello smells really good. Its very herb-y/verdant with a really comforting kinda fresh water/new rain kinda vibe. If i say dank yall will giggle but he's got like a nice petrichor-y vibe. High moisture soil and greenery- its very fresh, light, and clean smelling. Also traces of some moderately high end cologne cause Akello enjoys the occasional Fine Thing.

What kind of drunk is everyone? Loud drunk? Horny drunk? Sad drunk? What are their tolerances? Drink of choice?

Surprisingly most of the characters have relatively high tolerances for one reason or another!

Mori's just been a heavy drinker for a long time (started when underage). He's always loud and horny but Drunk Mori has no inhibitions and is even more susceptible to peer pressure. Drunk Mori is full of Fun and Good Ideas with a negative amount of impulse control to consider bodily harm, property damage, or legal consequences. He is a good time boy here for a good time and by god he's gonna have it.

Amir actually specifically spent time building tolerance to alcohol (and other substances) mostly so that it would be harder for clients to take advantage of him and because his job typically expects him to partake. That being said he really enjoys his wine and after a bottle tents to get a little rambly and more drape-y. The tight control he normally has over his tongue loosens and if someone irritates him after a pitcher of sangria you're much more likely to hear him snark back. Has no personal space (he kinda doesn't anyway but don't think he won't grab your face to tell others how cute you look).

Akello's not much of a drinker but enjoys a good social beer or hard cider after a while. Is one of those select few that likes IPAs (though they're not his favorite, he likes really strong flavor profiles like stouts, sours, and wheat beers). He's chattier, for sure, and if you get him talking he tends to Keep talking as a little bit of alcohol tends to dull his instincts to hold back in social situations. Prone to oversharing then feeling embarrassed about it later.

Kazu doesn't drink all that much but he's got an absolutely absurd metabolism so it takes a lot to get him drunk. Mostly he just gets red and extra quiet. LOVES LOVES LOVES going to bars tho because MAYBE someone will start shit with him and he can get in a fight.

Raath: SHOCKINGLY LOW TOLERANCE. Hadn't been exposed to lots of drinking opportunities through most of his life. Doesn't like the way most of it tastes/ doesn't like his senses impaired/ gets headaches. Plus side is he slurs real bad so he's kind of at your verbal mercy and hates it.

Marcel is a charismatic college boy well versed in jungle juice frat parties and sneaking a little bit of tequila into your 7am lecture in a protein shaker. He's a boisterous drunk kinda like Mori and emboldened to flirt or otherwise get up to antics. Definitely gets handsy-er with a little booze but tends to act a little drunker than he really is.

As a someone who sometimes occasionally does an art, how would the bois feel about an artist bg/gf/nbf?

Akello's kind of the odd man out here as he doesn't consider himself the most creative person on the planet but I think he'd be fascinated with a partner who's an artist. It might help him realize that he uses a lot of his plant work and garden construction as a creative outlet. He will be impressed with literally anything you produce!

Mori does art in his own weird ways and appreciates the dedication it takes to get good at a specific skill. Sketching is probably one of the few ways to keep more quiet and still for more than 20 minutes so if you're a traditional type artist you can expect a semi weekly sketch session. Mori also likes graffiti/tagging, tattooing (only people he likes + occasionally drawing designs for tattooer friends), and playing with graphic marker pieces in addition to his musical pursuits so expect him to be interested wherever your interests cross over with his. If there's no obvious crossover hes still nosy and wants to check out your process. God forbid you do life sketches or anything he'll insist he model naked for you.

As a classically and highly trained Artist™️Amir's very interested in breaking away from the academic structure of formal art education to explore more subversive themes. If your interests align with his expect him to infodump every single step of his latest piece onto you. He doesn't always need feedback but he likes to think out loud to someone he trusts. If your interests in either subject or medium aren't on the same page never fear! Amir's always ranting about hot art topics anyway so you can expect TONS of parallel play where you both occupy the same space and work on your personal projects while occasionally getting into Art Discourse about various topics.

Mori is ultra fidgety and is practically always stimming in SOME way. His most common one is making drum noises with his mouth or counting out beats. You can hear him a lot under his breath like "one ee and a two ee and a" or "trip-pl-let trip-pl-let" like he's counting out measures. Otherwise he drums with his fingers/pens/rolled up piece of paper, pats on his stomach/chest. Will sometimes play with any accessories he's got on like necklaces or bracelets. Takes his thumb ring off and spins it on table tops.

Amir is pretty sedate as far as the need to fidget goes. When he's especially tense he tends to wring his hands a little or fuss with his nails. When he's especially stressed and it manifests as a physical compulsion he tends to run his hands through his hair a bit too much/muss it/pull on it a little bit.

Akello NORMALLY doesn't need to stim too bad but theres points where he gets into "the zone" and he starts bouncing his leg or spinning his pen while all his focus is sort of honed in on whatever he's working on. He also chews on pens in this stage and he has had them burst on him, which promptly pops the Focus balloon in favor of lots of cursing.

How does everyone react to the realization that a relationship has gone from Casual to Not So Casual? How do they handle actually, legitimately caring for the person they're with and wanting to be with them long-term?

Mori has to have a personal crisis first. He's scared of commitment and being vulnerable so honestly he might lay low for a couple days, he might indulge some bad habits like drinking too much. He'll realize after a bit that he might be scared of the future but but he loves being with you so he'll come around eventually, you just might get some insensible drunk texting first.

Amir will also have a personal crisis but he deals with it much quieter and unless you're SUPER observant you might not even catch it happening. The way his relationship ended with Matias left wounds that won't ever heal and there's a little bit of conflict in him wondering if its okay or appropriate to emotionally "move on" and he'd need some time to fully come to terms with what that means for him. I feel like amir would know his OWN emotions for the mc really well, but its in his nature to stop and think critically before making a move or letting the relationship proceed organically. He'd do his best to keep up appearances though.

Akello probably comes to the realization + acceptance the fastest. He's already spent a lot of time internalizing that one chapter of his life was over (for better or worse) and a new one was starting out. He'd be more open to considering what a relationship (not even necessarily romantic) would look like on the long term and and probably be in touch with his own feelings on it reasonably quick?

How possessive do the characters (background folks included!) get when they're in deep in a relationship? Do they ever get jealous?

Mori - Actually pretty possessive but manages not to be too annoying about it. Mostly its important to him that everyone else knows he's sleeping with you, he doesn't mind so much if you have partners on the side or see your arrangement as mostly casual. Only gets really territorial or obnoxiously jealous when his rut's near or his more feral instincts are simmering close to the surface.

Amir - Very rarely jealous but can be possessive. Its usually more for sexy effect than anything but it does come from a deep, legitimate place- tightly controlled or not. Part of his draping and squishing your face and crooning in public is him making a show of his favorite. (There's a sliding scale of objectification going on here depending on whether his partner gets more flustered at that or not). Amir wouldn't fly off the handle, he's much too refined for that, but anyone coming on to you around him will be in for some Meangirl comments.

Akello - HAS A JEALOUS STREAK. He tries to keep it pretty subdued and rationally knows that its out of line and immature to get pissy about innocuous come-ons or that way one of your friends is kinda casually touchy with you. Eventually though, if the offense is bad enough or persists long enough, he might find a quiet moment to get you alone and let you know that it annoys him. He's mature enough to communicate about it, at least!

Raath - Ahh.... Raath is over the top possessive and EASILY made very jealous. His general dislike of people makes him very VERY hard to placate and he's not afraid of acting like a bitch in public because, again, Raath is not primed for meshing into groups well. He will corner your ex, inject himself between you and others, glare. He's selfish and not particularly articulate so it will take an experienced handler to mollify his malcontentedness but if you're someone who thinks a possessive, easily jealous bf is kinda hot he's lots of fun.

Kazu - Very territorial, it goes with his guard dog programming. He dislikes your exes. If you're dating someone else (even super casually) he doesn't like them either. He wont get weird about your friends most of the time-- but he's VERY good at pinpointing which ones would make moves on you if he stopped looming over them threateningly. Unlike raath, he won't whine or throw a tantrum about it but his Bitchface gets so intense the message comes across loud and clear. (He might ask you to let him throw your ex in a trash can)

Marcel - Easygoing af. Everythings fun and games to him he's not gonna get pressed about what you do and with who as long as no one's being kept in the dark about what's going on. You ask if he's jealous and he'll literally laugh cause he's just not that kind of guy most of the time.

A lot of his work involves theatric romance so when it comes to his close relations he prefers something earnest and simple to something grandiose. Amir is an accomplished polyglot and would find it particularly cute/endearing if you called him something from your cultural background/language etc etc.

Akello has a grotesquely sweet side so he's smugger than he should be to be called baby, sweetheart, honey, or whatever sacchariney thing you can come up with. Like Mori, he has no shame when it comes to terms of endearment.

Ooh i can def answer this in generalities!

Mori is the type to just hulk out and hunt you down. His sense of smell is very good and his natural impulsivity and recklessness makes him unlikely to plan anything too meticulously. He's gotten his hands dirty before and while its not his favorite thing in the world, he's very prepared to do it again.

Amir is. Cautious. He doesn't want to be. His natural impulse is to rush to your aid but he learned in the worst way that gambling like that comes with STEEP consequences. An MC who doesn't know his backstory well might actually feel shocked and hurt at his apparent coldness in ensuring he was making the smartest call. He's possibly the most likely to oblige a ransom, in his head ensuring your safety is utmost and he can work on regaining lost ground later.

Akello surprisingly is gonna pull a Mori. He's a lot smarter about finding out where you were being held, for instance, and would make sure that he knew what he was stepping into, but Akello's demonic powers are WAY past the average and he's zero percent afraid to rip that building off the foundation to get to you.

Kazu might not be a demon but he's strong. Like. Crazy strong and he's been doing violent work most of his life. He is zero percent afraid or worried about bodily damage and to be honest... if a human was going to have the raw power, skill, and technique to punch some enforcers (or worse) into ground beef, its Kazu. Expect him to kick down the door shortly after MC is kidnapped.

Raath is a sniper/assassin by trade and has dealt with this situation for clients in the past. He might invest time in securing his vantage point but it will be time well spent as he is an excellent marksman and his long distance kills are immaculate. Expect the death to rain down a little bit more messy as this being more personal to him will carry a little bit more of a Sadist's flair. Expect to be lectured afterwards.

Marcel isn't superhuman and doesn't have Kazu's decades of training so he is at something of a disadvantage. However, he's smart, and charismatic, and of all the characters, I think behind Amir, Marcel has the strongest chance of actually negotiating a peaceful end to the stand off. He doesn't let go of a grudge easily tho so you can expect him to want payback afterwards.

What kind of car is Amir's? :0c Does he know a lot about them?

Amir drives a (in universe equivalent) Lamborghini Huracan and I waffle between either the Tecnica and STO models. Either way he's had custom work done on it, has custom red livery details and calipers to offset the white exterior + a ton of carbon details. Its a V10 with some electronic power regulation and goes from 0-60 in about 3 seconds with a top speed of about 200mph.

Amir knows more about cars than he lets on and typically won't let anyone work on his ride if he doesn't have a rapport with them. He's not about to do the work himself but also he won't let someone jerk him around too much (though he will pay premiums for speed and efficiency, he doesn't have a lot of time to throw around). most of the ROs are pro cuddling for the most part. Kazu thinks the point of it is to crush you so you cant move and raath doesn't really understand a lot of intimacy (platonic but especially romantic) and Marcel can't keep wandering hands to himself HOWEVER

Mori tends to be a big spoon/backpack/bag of grain as he just kind of climbs on top of you and finds ways for his bodyweight to distribute. Actively enjoys turning into a cat to knead on ur tittis(gnc).

Amir prefers being the big spoon just to keep all his hair out of your face but he's generally pretty flexible in bed in more ways than one. You gotta be on your own pillow if sleeping is on the docket though, he cant share.

Akello is a tactile fuck so he's game for cuddling basically anytime. Might have a slight big spoon preference but I don't think he cares that much.
