I like to think he'd be found on a job in Minrathous. Because where else were the Crows going to purchase a Qunari child to mold into the perfect killing machine? He's got a bone to pick and he can't take it out on the ones who hold his leash. At least not yet <3

18. What would your Rook be doing if they weren't recruited by Varric?

Killing for fun and profit! He's a Crow, it's what they do <3 I like to think he'd eventually be recruited by my beloved Recovering Crow, Zevran, and then he'd be hunting the rest of them for sport.

To avoid making this a goddamn novel, I'm going to choose just one of my three lads, and I'm going with Vena bc he's the newest and needs the development!

5: He tends to choose the direct/no-nonsense options, but occasionally he'll go snarky/humorous if he either likes you enough or he's sick of your shit <3

6: He and Neve get along pretty well! He trusts her judgement for the most part, and likes her ability to Get Shit Done. Competence goes a long way as far as he's concerned.

8: Lmao he's suspicious of everyone until he has absolute trust he doesn't need to be. It takes a bit for him to warm up to people.

9: No 🥰 I think the Crows who knew him personally would be incredibly shocked to see him being personable towards his companions. He's an asset to them the same as they are to him. It is a purely business relationship he was literally bought into as a child. He knows their current treatment of him is reliant entirely on his usefulness, and the second he is no longer useful, well...

10: I think he knows his way around several, but he's definitely got a preference for stringed instruments.

11: Magic is excellent for something quick, flashy, and at distance, but there is something so beautifully intimate about a dagger~

tbh just gave him black sclera for funsies! i just think it looks nice :)

and i put him with Dorian since he's actually in the game (even if he doesn't SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THE ROMANCE APPARENTLY???) and i think he'd be pissed at solas, but he'd still want to "save him from himself" kinda deal.
