# THIS IS HOW YOU TELL A FUCKING STORY # THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE A CHARACTER’S DEATH MEAN SOMETHING # something beyond ‘oh wow yeah i guess the stakes are high’ # LOOKING AT YOU WAREHOUSE # Joss Carter’s story was fucking perfect # and yes she died but i will fight you if you say she was fridged or just used # to further the narratives of the other characters # THEY were used to further HER narrative # and YES the relationship Carter had with all the others made them BETTER # but when she died it fucking DESTROYED them # and it was BEAUTIFUL # and then they did honor her memory and they did it clean # but this fucking scene # Elias is in his own way a monster # and he knows it and embraces it # but he respected that Carter was NOT a monster and yet was STILL FUCKING SMART ENOUGH TO GET ONE OVER ON HIM # so this scene is so fucking satisfying (via racethewind10)
