like, everyone talks about root and the nerd squad, but i think we’re all forgetting- root and the boys are the The Machine’s nerd squad. She’s the boss. and omg, wouldnt She be the best boss.

She would get them super nice hotel rooms because ernest thornhill is a millionaire right. and Shes got no other use for it so why not make Her assets comfortable

but like when they go to bed She sometimes likes to prank them by changing their alarm to something silly (like she did in Guilty with the juror–’can’t touch this’? She is hilarious!)

and no, She doesnt talk to any of the boys directly, but She does occasionally talk through root, leading to some…interesting conversations (and pep talks!)

or maybe they’ll be on a long road trip and they ask Her to be DJ, and of course She has access to every song ever made, but She knows their preferences and tailors the playlist to what they like, because She is just that kind of boss

i dont know, i just…i need more cool boss!Machine in my life. because these are Her assets, Her friends, and She cares about them, and She is grateful that they follow Her so devoutly, and She likes to make them as happy and comfortable as She can
