Hi. Still think about Shoot. I think, after all this mess... they shouldn't develop it at all. Really they first angered mainstream cbsaudience (which is far from tolerance, its not like cw), than - LGBTfuns. Infuriate the both sides-yay!You need special talent for that!Really it could be just mediocre, not-bad show with cute subtext. Harmless. After all, It's better to belong to those who avoid things, than to those, who failed with them.If you idea backfire not once but twice - it's a bad idea?
Ok, first of all Person of Interest is my favorite show. Like, ever. I don’t think it’s a mediocre procedural. It’s my problematic fave, ok, but I love it.That said, I don’t agree with you. It’s better to try and fail rather than ignore and hide. Idk if they (also) wanted to pursue (in the middle of a brilliant show with many storylines) “the Gay Agenda” and failed miserably, if they tried but then retreated when things got too gay, if they never wanted to go that way and then things happened and they put the gay story in but decided to contain it. I don’t know. What I know is that I’m happy they went that way. I’m disappointed, I’m not happy with the way it ended, but I’d watch it again. I hope other shows will learn from the fandom’s reaction and behave accordingly. Person of Interest would have been much less interesting if Root and Shaw would have remained cute harmless subtext.
