But it’s funny to see the differences in Shaw’s reactions between when Root and Reese are shot. When Root was shot in episode 3x17, she was just like hey c'mere let me see are you hurt are you healing well make sure you change these after 72 hours and keep your dressings dry because I don’t want them to get infected and you to be more hurt I’m going to be as gentle as possible when touching your collarbone tell me if I’m hurting you and I can’t see the entire injury in great detail because I need to know everything about it just to make sure you’re ok so I’m going to slowly move away your hair wait no don’t say those things you’re embarrassing me and now I’m leaving stop smiling at me like that but when Reese got shot in 4x06, Shaw was just like haha suck it up you baby why are you complaining you’re fine it’s only a flesh wound

what she means: but do you ever wonder how did Root learn all of her skills? Did she stay in town after her friend's murder? Did she have a family? Did she finish school or just quit because she was already a genius? And if she did finish, did she enter university after? How did she learn how to code by herself? When exactly did she start to introduce herself as Root and left "Samantha Groves" behind? Where and how were her young adult years spent? How did she become a super hacker to make money and which jobs were those? How many idioms does she speak and how did she learn them? I mean did she learn Japanese from being a huge anime fan or did she travel the world? How did she learn about weapons and practiced shooting, how does she know so much about drugs, psychology and hand to hand combat? Was she trained to endure torture? I have too many unanswered questions about Root's past and I need answers.

WTF PEOPLE GET OUTTTT also let’s all appreciate how Hanna was the catalyst for Root to believe that humans are bad code and how the Machine and then Shaw+Harold were the catalysts for her to start believing in the value of humans again I expect Root to pretty much go insane and I am 100% here for a storyline of Doubt coz you can’t fucking tell me Root isn’t gonna be upset at the Machine for somehow not saving Shaw no matter how irrational that idea is (via ohthesefeelingz)
