It's no secret I am in love with Natasha Romanoff. If you take a look at my blog you'll find a bunch of black widow gifs and pictures. The Winter Solider is when I fell I love with her. I was a casual watcher of the marvel movies, not invested in them like I am today, but when I watched CA:TWS it was like a religious experience. I'm not sure if it's because at that point in my life I needed a hero I could relate to, or because we got to see more of her personality and that she is an actual person, not just eye candy that can shoot a gun. But I am 23 years old and having a hard time with life. I can't relate to a billionaire, a God, a man with a super serum injected into him, or that turns into a big green monster when angry. But I can relate to a woman that has trained to be the fighter she is, with no money or serum to help her, to try to fix her wrongs and do the right thing. A woman that has a sense of humor, helps her friends and saves random civilians around her. Anyway, the reason I am typing this, I am so sick of not seeing her on any merchandise. And if she is, she's tiny and in the back background. She has been in 4 marvel movies and I have seen more merchandise for The Vision, who has just appeared in (the back half of) Age of Ultron. And he is upfront and center, if not just the only person on the item. Mark Ruffalo has even made a Twitter comment to include her more. Plenty of people want a Black Widow movie, Scarlett Johannson is all for it, and other actors are also supporting it. But for some reason whoever is in charge of MCU wont do it. But they have no problem making an Ant-Man movie, that NO ONE was excited to see. I have heard so many comments how it looks stupid (even though I did see it got decent reviews) that a man the size of an ant can save the world. This has gotten long, but my main point is Marvel if you are somehow reading this, please please please stop treating Black Widow like shit, and realize the money you could make if you would include her on more merchandise.
