They support trauma and submission.
Veterans are promised services for their commitment. Republicans try to negate those services.

They do not care about hypocrisy, about consistency, about facts, about truth.
They care about power.
They will say anything, believe anything, and do anything that gains more power for themselves or takes it away from others. Doing “gotcha” questions and logic-dunking on them doesn’t work, because they don’t care about being right, they care about having power. They engage in hypocrisy on purpose, as an act of domination over the fools who believe in things like truth and principles and integrity. Their willingness to override reality gives them power over people who believe reality matters. Trying to debate them is pointless. The only winning move is not to play. Shut them down and shut them out at every opportunity.

Never forget the men and women in Congress who repeatedly disregarded the health of the 9/11 responders. Never forget how many Congressmembers didn't show up for the compensation victim fund hearing, and how they told Jon Stewart, a strong advocate for the fund and a friend of many of the victims, to "stop making a big deal" out of caring for the health of the victims. Never forget how these men and women laid down their lives, literally, to fight for Americans in a time of national crisis to only have America turn their backs on them while THEY were in need. Never forget 9/11, and definitely don't forget to vote.
