“Losing My Grip” by Samson
Maiden Monday
Cold stove waiting for me when I get home No fire burning for me I’m living on my own I could die in my sleep Nobody even bother asking why Lying here all alone Listening to my soul cry
This version of the song was and early studio version with Bruce and included as a Bonus Track on the last album her recorded with Samson, even though the actual song was recorded on the following album with a different singer. It’s a cool song and, if you’re a fan of raw early 80′s metal, definitely give it a listen.
Buffalo Springfield - Down to the Wire (1966)
This is not the version found on Neil Young’s Decade. Not only that, Stephen Stills is singing not Neil. I’m honestly not sure which one I prefer.
