blue lock is the worst and best piece of media in the whole world. it’s intrinsically gay. everyone probably has second-hand high from the amount of axe body spray in the building. human experimentation is canon. no one’s parents read the waiver. professional athletes are pitting high schoolers against each other for their own entertainment. they are getting paid to do that. there is poignant symbolism regarding class struggle and freedom. a main character yells right in the womb as he scores. friendship and teamwork is banned. a real life, adult man has a wall of cameras to watch teenage drama unfold. the guys with crippling mental health conditions run the place like wardens. they aren’t allowed to use their phones. they are live streamed for profit. there are at least two instances of canon-typical pet play. it’s awesome, no one is doing it like them, and no one ever will.

No hate to people who like/ write character x reader fic but oh my god how hard it is at first to go through the blue lock tag 😭😭

It’s sad that you have to follow a bunch of bllk blogs to actually see some analysis instead of going through the mountains of x reader posts in the blue lock tag

Soapboxing for a sec... I support everyone's right to share x reader content, but consistent tagging greatly assists those of us who don't enjoy seeing those kind of posts.

It'd be beneficial if anyone sharing fics of that kind to the main "blue lock" tag could also tag their posts "blue lock x reader" and/or "bllk x reader".

To explain the etiquette here, when you tag an x reader post just by the character involved (e.g. "firstname lastname x reader"), to hide that post from the main Blue Lock tag feed, a user has to manually go add that specific tag to their blocklist. With Blue Lock's large cast, that gets irritating fast. I've blocked most of the main character x reader tags, but still frequently end up seeing a few unfiltered posts in the main Blue Lock tag feed because of people not tagging blue lock x reader.

It's mutually beneficial: tagging your post "blue lock x reader" makes it more easily findable for the users that enjoy that kind of content. Conversely, it allows those of us who don't enjoy that content to hide it when browsing the main tag feed.

Still leaves a lot to be desired regarding the main tag, unfortunately. I also dislike how unusable the Blue Lock tagfeed is on mobile for top posts due to how filtering works. 🥲

Anyway, here's some other sample tags to use on posts or to browse, creating a more targeted Blue Lock feed. May help with avoiding the aforementioned x reader clogs:

do you think noel noa can ever forgive kunigami for what he’s become, for what he’s trying to prove? it’s not his fault, no, he was just a bright eyed teenager in love with soccer. but it’s still his body. it’s still him playing. do you think noel noa can ever forgive him for that? love him? understand him? or maybe i’m wrong. maybe noel noa is the only one who can do those things.
