Lockwood and Co confessions chain, I’ll go first:
- I’ve only seen the show twice all the way through
- I forget about Skull being a character more than I should
- I can’t for the life of me remember what happens in the café scene so anytime it’s mentioned I just smile and wave boys

I reread The Whispering Skull yesterday and I have questions. How old do we actually think Bobby Vernon is?
Let me present the facts:
- Very very small (not indicative of age)
- “tiny legs like hairy bamboo canes” which suggests he’s a teenager?
- Uses Brylcreem(!) which is kind of giving “Year 7 who just discovered hair gel”. We also know that Kipps oils his hair back (why bro), so perhaps he’s also trying to emulate someone he looks up to
- Fittes agents are usually anywhere between 8-16 years old

I want you all to know that I posted this in a haze about 0.2 seconds after seeing a gifset of Cameron Chapman as Anthony ":3" Lockwood
Lucy got sunburnt in March once. Skull wouldn't stop laughing at her for a week.
Lockwood either burns to a crisp OR he's one of those people who is very pale but manages to tan quite impressively. That version gets a wicked sock tan from wearing socks and shorts.
George Cubbins never burns because he's meticulous with applying sun cream and he has one of those hats with the fabric flaps to protect your neck, the sort that you see primary school kids wearing. If he gets burnt it ends up being in one of those tiny areas that you sometimes forget are exposed to the sun until it's too late.
George Karim rarely burns because he's brown, but he also (mostly) remembers to wear his sun cream (because that's very important).

when i need to feel something, i watch lockwood’s interrogation scene in episode 2 with inspector barnes
and the feeling I feel is hysterical amusement because both of their knees are practically up to their chins

The funniest fricking thing to me is that the Fittes uniform and whole colour scheme is orange in the show literally just because the entire Barbican (where they filmed it) is already orange so they didn’t really have a choice
This is a thought that has been festering in my mind for a long time but I don’t think anyone draws Lucy’s bob short enough.
Obviously it’s all up to interpretation, but Lucy strikes me as someone who keeps it short purely for function. If there’s a piece that keeps getting in her way she’ll chop it off with kitchen scissors right then and there.
Personally I think by TEG her hair is cropped short right up against her head.

It’s a well-known fact at Fittes that if your food gets stuck in the vending machine, you call Bobby Vernon to get it out. He’s the only one with thin enough arms to reach inside and dislodge things. Only problem is, he charges for his services.
- If it’s crisps or sweets he gets to eat 20%
- If it’s a drink he gets the first sip but you’ve never seen someone so small take such a big gulp, and he DEFINITELY backwashes

There's so much foreshadowing of things that are revealed later in the Lockwood & Co books in the show and that just makes me even angrier that it was canceled because the pieces were being put down for later seasons.
We were talking about how they’ve edited/removed/CG’d the buildings in background of this shot - which you see for all of 10 seconds - to make the location more canon-compliant!
They painted the PR house darker JUST for filming, for crying out loud!!
CF are masters of tiny details and they deserve to be able to finish what they started!!
Cameron Chapman better watch out bc if I ever bump into him while I’m on my period or pms-img I’m straight up just gonna sob into his shoulder about Lockwood 🤷🏻♀️
