Krypton is always such an interesting thing to think about, especially when Clark is influenced by it in some way (be it his actions or his costume) I mean how can it not be? it's the destroyed homeworld of one of the world's greatest heroes also I really appreciate you having Kal look more like Lara than Jor, way too often is she pushed to the side
also the two of them look a lot younger than they normally do, and honestly I like that ^^ really gives off the impression of them being new parents, and also I kind of had this idea of Jor being the protege of the head of the Science Guild rather than the head itself, as to kind of show their desperation and by extension of love of their son more oh and one last thing, I like the idea that maybe Jor and Lara put this in the rocket with Kal so that he'd have something to know them by in case the fortress thing didn't work out (which isn't too unlikely since he landed on a far more primitive world) hell, maybe it even had Jor's final words to Kal from the Donner movie written on the back
Regarding just your last paragraph, this was actually gonna be set next to a picture of Clark with Ma and Pa, like a first family photo with each set of parents situation, so yes, definitely it's in his rocket somewhere more easily accessible!
