Regardless of whether he's called Pablo or Wheeljack or whatever, his face is just awful. Like I'm sorry but the lips looked just as bad on the big screen.
The glasses were extremely unsexy and stupid looking, which is wild b/c how do you do that? How do you make robot glasses unsexy? Any artist here could have done better.
If they really had to name RotB Pablo after a G1 Autobot he doesn't resemble, it should have been Hound. Because he didn't do anything sciency but he DID seem like a nature-lover. A bunch of birds flew out of him when he transformed.

I can't even. The Bumblebee movie NAILED their designs. It was perfect blend of G1 designs and realism. It was so fun to watch. ALL I WANTED WAS TO SEE MORE OF IT. BUT NO. NO!! ALL WE GET ARE 2 FREAKING MINUTES OF ACTION AND THEN THIS MONSTROSITY. WHO EVEN SIGNED OFF ON THIS. IT LOOKS MORE UGLY EVERY TIME I SEE IT. THEY DIDNT EVEN INCLUDE HIS HEADFINS!!!! WHEELJACKS DESIGN IS SO MUCH FUN AND THEY LITERALLY JUST THREW IT OUT THE WINDOW AND FOR WHAY????????? I hate him.
To everyone who likes this design. I am sorry. I respect your decision. I am happy that at least someone can find joy in... this. But dear god. I hate him so much.
He's so ugly. He also looks "fake". Like, it looks like someone photoshopped his lips on. It pains me to know they're "real."
also jesus christ can we please stop the "big glasses equals NERD lol" thing. That was already hackneyed by the 80s.
