IVE ACCUMULATED SO MANY

TF One Orion Pax is basically all I could have wished that TFP Orion Pax was, and my brain is buzzing with a "what if" where TFP Megatron is stuck with Feral Rebel Orion Pax running around the warship causing trouble (staying locked in a room breaking codes? LOL! ELL OH ELL!!!!! NO, he is crawling through the vents so he can break into the vault and use the magnet relic thing to SLINGSHOT himself down the hall) and Megatron is like "wow he makes me so tired actually"

Call it the Orion Swap tfp gets One! Orion and his pure little shit energy and Tf one gets sweet tfp Orion and his questioning of everything and gentle nature

Megatron continually finding TF One Orion reading instead of codebreaking and slowly realizing it's because this Orion does not know the first thing about codebreaking and encryption.

"What kind of archivist are you, Orion?!"

"Uh I'm a miner."

Megatron internally: oh no I can relate to him

I think Ratchet would have an unfair and intense dislike of TF1 Orion Pax, as this turbo revving young punk Ruins Everything (and has REPLACED Ratchet's dear friend).

Like Orion immediately strolls into Jasper because everyone assumed he would intuit that he should stay in disguise around humans and like. No, he didn't catch that vibe. And doesn't even have a t-cog.

its crazy how the entire plot of transformers one could've been derailed completely if orion and d16 had just. any moment at all to chill out. bc d is shown to be conflict avoidant and generally level-headed, and it's not usually in his instinct to, yknow, start killing people??? he could've turned back to peace on the basis of his trust in orion alone— if they were just able to pick each other's brains about the whole situation and have a normal, non-rushed chat!! but noooo, they discover a political conspiracy then a revolutionary base and almost die many times... the breakneck speed of the pacing almost feels like the writers built up megop's relationship so well that it occurred to them that their cool story idea would start unravelling the moment orion and d had any time to hang out whatsoever, so boom! get kidnapped, sucker!

I think getting jumped by / meeting Starscream really solidified D-16's path.

Previously we'd seen several times where D-16 would get mad at Orion over his anti-authoritarian antics but then calm down and reconcile later when it turned out, hey, actually the world didn't end.

D-16 then experienced the most life-shattering revelation ever and, true to form, blamed Orion. Before he could get to the "reconcile" part of the cycle, Starscream captured them and sneered at Orion, implying he was naive to think that Cybertronians could work together for the common good. Starscream said the only thing that matters is one bot's power over another.

These seeds fell on fertile ground as D-16 was already reeling, was mad at Orion, AND had just been given a very powerful upgrade. By attacking Starscream and taking over the High Guard, he validated Starscream's philosophy. Which was now D-16's philosophy too.

I feel like TFP Megatron would be completely thrown off by TF One Starscream.

I can already imagine the visible disgust on his face while Starscream demands to be hit harder

That or he would actually hit harder.

If he hits harder it’d be in a “EUGH GET AWAY FROM ME” seeing a scary bug crawling on your arm kinda way. He wouldn’t be able to enjoy it anymore.
