About Percy refusing immortality: I think this is not a decision that is made for just one reason, especially Percy who is always sacrificing himself for everyone. But yes, part of his choice was by himself, but also for other reasons:
Nico: Percy traded immortality for some requests, and one of them was to create more cabins minor gods + Hades, he did this thinking mainly about Nico so that he would feel at home in the camp and stay there longer, until the end Percy was always thinking about Nico and I'm simply in love with that fact
Rachel: Because Rachel was an oracle, she would have to deal with Hades' curse, but Percy asked that she be protected from the curse
Calipso: He asked that she also be freed from her curse, and he also cultivated the plant he got from calypso for years even in New York where there is almost no nature
Meanwhile, he kept Nico's secret for years, exclusively for him, there was no other reason than to protect Nico
Another detail that I like: when Nico asked Percy to protect Bianca, Percy said he would do his best, he couldn't say for sure that he would be able to keep her alive simply because he he couldn't lie to Nico, even though he thought he was an annoying child at first, I think Percy started to care about him from the beginning but never really showed it

These two are just so alike! Smart, resourceful, and tactical. First impressions of their character make people not like them because they seem stuck up and condescending, but they have a caring heart deep down once you get to know them. Also they have a warrior spirit inside of them.

This is my last project so far this year. I wanted to show some tribute to Percy Jackson series once I finished reading all the books (the story fascinated me more and more, I was reading and at the same time thinking "Woah, this part could be a great poster!”), and I really intended to create a poster for each one of the seven and even a few more (I don’t like HOO that much, tho, only a few characters), but then I saw a painful spoiler. I’m serious: when I saw that that character died I lost my whole inspiration and all my motivation! Suddenly this project became something exhausting for me. So finally, after months, I’m posting this cause I decided I’ll no longer move forward with this project. But I really love these and I hope you guys enjoy it too!
