It’s another blazing hot day in Musutafu, cursing everyone to strip down to bare essential clothing and obnoxious flip flops. You never did favor the summer- you preferred not wearing shorts and thin shirts, but you’ll do what you have to in order to get an inch of comfort under the scorching sun.
You have an iced drink in one hand, your phone in the other as you sit outside the cafe you got your drink in. Your feet are crossed at the ankles, resting on the table in front of you as you press your cold drink to your forehead and sigh.
You’re considering bringing a squirting bottle with you wherever you go just so you can cool down when a voice speaks from above you.
“Oh, it’s you.”
When you open your tired eyes, you’re surprised enough to jolt when you see who it is. It’s been probably a week and a half (actually it’s been exactly 11 days, but you’re not counting) since you’ve seen him face to face last; since he saved you from that creep.
