It has been 16 hours since I finished Rise Of The Titans and I’m still not over that ending.

My favorite part of Trollhunters was Jim and Blinky’s relationship and no matter what could happen in this alternate timeline Jim has place himself in. His relationship with Blinky will not be the same as it was when he was the Trollhunter.

I’m sorry but it just will not be the same and it makes it impossible for me to be okay with that ending.

Ok WHAT? WAS? THAT ENDING?!?

Some more explorations from my time working on Wizards! When we got the script for episode 9, I was really wanted to explore/pitch the idea of Douxie being a kid (maybe 12?) when Merlin picked him up. So I did these beat moments of their meeting to explore that concept and his remembrance of that memory. I love drawing my baby boy as extra baby booyyyy, need to do some fan art of him soon. Enjoy <3

That feeling when you totally understand the narrative and thematic arc of Jim’s character in Wizards and know being human again is something the character in-universe deserves and wants,

BUT-

you also really liked the Troll Jim design and wanted to see more of him being strong and fast AF and more capable than ever as Trollhunter and we never really got to see how his transformation could have bridged the gap between troll and human relations for generations to come or how his change in species affected his relationship to the troll community as a whole and now we never will.

no he was basically just saying “he’s baby”
