!!!! Ok look at that! Peter B Parker, who’s older and has been doing this much longer has 3 main things different:
- his nose is crooked, it’s been broken so many times at this point it can’t be reset anymore, his job has visibly weathered and hurt him.
-the lighting isn’t as dramatic, why? Because the shiny “I’m the hero” energy is gone. He treats what he does like it’s what he has to do. He isn’t happy or in the spot light anymore, it’s just what he does. The drama is gone. He isn’t glorifying what he does anymore and doesn’t care for other people glorifying it either.
-he isn’t smirking, he isn’t excited, there’s no spark, he doesn’t have a drive to fight he’s just fighting now. He’s worn down. He’s tired. This is seriously now, not fun. He knows it needs to be done but he isn’t happy he needs to do it anymore.
Peter B Parker is tired he doesn’t have the stars in his eyes like RIPeter, he’s older and the character differences visibly show.
Also, what I love is that there is every indication RIPeter would have turned out exactly like Peter B Parker if he had lived.
He’s only “perfect” because he died while everything was going great.
*nods*
I feel sad when people somehow make it that Peter Parker was less than Peter B Parker.
They’re the same person. The difference is (aside from eye color and the extra B in the name)— Peter B has ten years on Peter Parker. If he lived as long as Peter B he would be the same, and feel as beaten down too.

Do you have any headcanons on what if the Spider family was present during Infinity War? How they would participate? Which of them would die during the snap and their reactions to MCU Peter's death?
I feel bad for doing this after Endgame came out (this was a long time ago) but then again, it’s also easier to do this now that I know what happened after this movie in particular but here we go.
- The gang would probably show up before Peter leaves for the field trip.
- When the initial arrival of Thanos’s forces in New York happened, the Spider gang would look over from a building on top as Tony’s group confronts Maw. The Squidward reference was lost on some of the Spiders, most definitely Noir.
- Once Tony revealed his latest suit, Miles asked Peni if such technology exist in her universe. Her simple answer was “I may be a genius but that doesn’t mean I can afford the tech”
- Once the fighting began, the B team (Peni, Noir and Ham) help out Strange while the A team help out Tony, who was really confused about Peter’s sudden growth. It gets weirder once MCU!Peter joined in.
- MCU!Peter got way too distracted by the other Spiders that the B team had to pick up his slack when chasing Maw and Strange’s Cloak of Levitation.
- Peni managed to link up with Tony’s armor during the fight and tries to get the other spiders to join up with her when MCU!Peter gets beamed up.
- The A team had to convince Wong to teleport them up near the spaceship and webbed themselves to Tony boosting to the ship, much to Tony’s dismay. They decided to wait till things calmed down before they can actually do icebreaking.
- While Tony had a better time “convincing” MCU!Peter to not join him rescue Strange, the other Spiders barely made it inside the ship.
- Tony nearly lost his cool when he starts questioning the presence of the other Spider-people. He was slightly weirded out by their admission about alternate universes but after aliens, he had a better time adjusting to such a concept. Ham was something else though.
- The spiders ended up giving MCU!Peter his position away to Tony thanks to Spider-sense which Peter felt unfair.
- They decided to save Strange before actually discussing things further and things went smoothly as planned.
- Once MCU!Peter introduced himself to Dr Strange, Strange was able to tell the other Spiders were from alternate universes, wondering about their presence. Peni assured the good doctor their journey was autonomous.
- The Spiders gave their origin stories in order to pass time (MCU!Peter’s reaction to Peter B’s marriage to MJ of course, puts him in a slight nervous wreck) and Tony REALLY questioned the younger spider people’s involvement (being younger than Peter), to which Miles retorted by saying that he stopped the multiverse from collapsing, an accomplishment that made MCU!Peter a little jealous.
- After hearing about Peter B and his MJ having a kid, Tony asked Peter B about his experience starting a family. Peter B gave him the “Leap of Faith” advice. MCU!Peter considered asking Peter B advice on being Spider-Man.
- Miles taught MCU!Peter the shoulder touch. Gwen teased Miles by advising Peter to stay calm, unless he’s okay with getting his hands stuck on someone’s hair.
- Peni asked Tony a gajillion questions about his suit and technology and told about the stuff she worked with. Tony considered having her work for him as an intern, a proper one and not the kind Peter had.
- Once they arrived on Titan, Tony’s group had a better time against the Guardians of the Galaxy thanks to the other Spiders.
- The whole conversation about pop-culture stuff between Quil and MCU!Peter really confused Noir. Meanwhile, Mantis found herself fascinated by Spider-Ham, even considering hugging the pig. Noir and Drax somehow managed to become fast friends over their fascination with each other.
- Once Thanos arrived and the battle began, Peter B actually bothered calling Thanos out on calling MCU!Peter an insect.
- Thanos was able to sense that the Spiders are from alternate universes and in theory, could potentially be protected from the snap (In the comic crossover with DC comics, the Infinity Gems are said to not be able to function outside its home world which could mean the Spiders’ status as universal foreigners could save them from being snapped. I’m using this as a basis to not having to think too hard on who dies because in-universe the victims are randomized) and wondered why they bother fighting against him to begin with.
- Ham’s toon physics actually did more to hurt Thanos initially but then Thanos used the stones to transform Ham’s arsenal into non-harmful items in hilarious toon fashion.
- The assistance of the spiders unfortunately did not help to turn the tides against Thanos too much. SP//dr was once again wrecked badly though still just slightly able to function more. Dr Strange eventually still gives the Time Stone to Thanos.
- Once the snap happens, none of the Spiders are affected (again, the effects in-universe are randomized, and the whole stones not being useful outside it’s universe and them not being from this universe. It’s way too hard to decide. Not to mention some Endgame spoiler stuff that has to be addressed if I DID had any ONE of them killed). Tont actually felt a bit resentful to the spiders for short time because his Peter just HAD to be the only Spider person who died. The one he knew most. Miles and Gwen assured to him that he’s not the only one who had to see their own Peter Parkers die. But of course Tony wanted to be left alone for a bit
- Once Endgame began, Tony began to calm down and wants to know the Spiders a bit more personally. Peni being the daughter of her universe’s Peter Parker and the reminder of Peter B’s marital status hurt him a bit because he is reminded of what his Peter could potentially grow up to be.
And that’s the end of this list so far. I could make a follow up for what if the spiders stayed on Earth instead if I felt like it and I won’t touch Endgame territory until at least a few months later. Sorry if I took a long while to get to this ask. Planned to get to this around a few weeks back but better late than never. Also my plan on keeping them all alive had been my decision before Endgame even came out so there.

before he even knocked on mj’s door, my boi peter parker firstly took care of himself. LOOK AT HIM.
he’s lost weight he’d gained during his bad days. he combed his hair. he’s got a clean suit. he’s got flowers. he’s about to smile. he’s nervous, but ready to face the love of his life.
he probably also tidied up his apartment, organized his documents and desktop, did his laundry, cut his hair, started shaving regularly, and only then he faced mj.
remember to take care of yourself first, people. everything comes from within and starts with you.

This detail makes me so happy, because he doesn’t want to be pitied. He wants to prove to MJ that he’s ready to be back in her life and that he’s ready to be a dad so he gets off his butt and stops wallowing in his own sadness and takes care of himself. And all it took was for Miles to remind him what it means to be Spider-Man, and to put him in a situation where he has to be better than he has been recently. It fills him with the confidence he needs to take the next step in his life no matter how afraid he is.
As much as Peter was able to teach Miles, he learned just as much from him at the same time. It’s a beautifully crafted arch that the both of them go through and it’s the best way to have Peter in a Miles story, without stealing the show.
God I love this movie.
