Hawks [Keigo Takami] x Reader: Tokoyami as a guest [Head Canons]:
I love Hawks and Tokoyami’s dynamic, and currently I’m writing a one-shot on here (every now and then writing it that is) about Tokoyami coming over to stay with the reader and Hawks during his internship. Since I’m bored and procrastinating, here’s some head canons based around that.
Tokoyami as a guest for you and Hawks head canons:
-You’re incredibly excited at the idea of having a week long house guest! Especially after everything that Keigo had told you about Tokoyami from his work study with him.
-You make sure the guest room is made up and everything is as clean and ready as possible for Tokoyami’s arrival. And just as you finish up, you hear a knock at the door signaling that they’ve arrived.
-“See? I told you my girlfriend is hot.” Keigo does you absolutely no favors as he introduces you that way, and you give him a look of ‘I will deal with you for that in private.’ Tokoyami, though, is an absolute gentleman and a sweetheart when you meet him.
-He seems pretty happy and surprised when he finds out you made an apple pie for dessert that night.
-You feel rather excited making breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evenings for them during that week. Having Tokoyami around is like having an adorable teenage son. Screw the fact that you’re only about five to six years a part in age.
-Tokoyami insists on helping with the dishes and helping you clean up. You just wave it off, especially since that’s something that Keigo usually does, and you’re still a bit upset with him about the comment he made earlier.
-Speaking of Keigo, he has nothing but good things to say about Tokoyami in regards to the internship and as a person, going about how the little raven is almost able to keep up with him.
-You take Tokoyami grocery shopping with you in the middle of the week, Hawks included. You insist that he gets the things he wants, but being as polite as he is, he declines…That is until he sees the gala apples in all of their glory. Dark Shadow has to put them in the basket for him, though.
-If one day you decide to bring Hawks lunch to his agency, then you bring some for Tokoyami, too. If you work at Hawks’s agency or are a hero in your own, you go out to lunch with them at least once.
-Towards the end of the internship, you get a call in the evening. Hawks tells you that he and Tokoyami are going to be late. You’re a bit worried, but then you notice loud music and chatter in the background, “Wait, where are you” you ask. Keigo is a bit silent at first, and you know it’s because you’re going to be upset at the answer.
“A bar.”
“What?!” you asked. How dare he be a bad parent host, and take your son guest to a place like that?! What was Keigo even thinking?!
“It’s not what you think! We had to take care of an incident here, and then we sort of…just stayed to hang out.”
“That is exactly what I thought!” You’re angry, and when they come back you quickly go to Tokoyami to make sure that he’s okay. He’s fine, though, as nothing crazy happened, but you, being in mother mode, are just incredibly worried. You end up making Tokoyami flush greatly, especially when you throw your arms around him in a hug. Keigo is definitely in trouble.
-One day when Tokoyami and Keigo come back (if you work at his agency, then they just stayed later than you), you notice that Keigo has a bunch of bruises and cuts on him. As you ask if he’s alright, Tokoyami quickly bows and goes on about how it’s his fault. He was training with controlling dark shadow, which ended up causing Hawks to get hurt. In that moment, Keigo realizes that you had basically decided to adopt Tokoyami for the week, as you turn your full attention to him instead, seeming much more concerned with the little raven.
-On the last day of Tokoyami’s internship, you go to see him off with Hawks. Tokoyami and Dark Shadow both thank you for your hospitality. “Come back any time,” you smile and wave as they leave to catch their plane. As Keigo goes to turn around and leave, you grab his arm, “I want one,” was all you said.
“Fine, fine. We can start whenever you want.”
